Legit this is probably going to be the most unorganized 기사 you've ever read.I just wanted to get my opinions out there in one place. Pretty much all the italicized things are my older comments.

Fair warning I probably am being harsh on Rumps, so if 당신 don't want to see an negative Rumple opinion I wouldn't keep reading.

General Feelings on the whole thing

First and fore most on tumblr I was asked 의해 an anon 'why was everyone so butt hurt over the season finale?' Before anyone asks, no I didn't see this as anon hate 또는 anything. However I did respond as the following, explaining the three main reasons as to why I was dis-satisfied with the event; I can’t speak for everyone, but I’m just sick of Regina being so miserable all the damn time. It’s not even just that OQ sank, it’s the fact that they implied that she may revert back to her evil ways. And that’s just such a sad waste of all the character development she’d undergone in the last season alone. They spent so much time redeeming her; she broke the curse with TLK, she used light magic, she forgave Snow…and no it would seem that we’re right back at square one. I just hope that her last line in the finale was an empty threat. That she won’t go dark again.

And then there’s the fact that it all just seemed so unnecessary; they were so many other spaces and things they could have used to create drama, yet they choose to screw Gina over and make it the Dan/Gina thing all over again. I don’t hate Marian (I choose not to hate characters just for ruining my ships) I don’t even dislike her, she seems nice enough. But I really don’t see how it’s productive to bring her into this. I just don’t

And also, above all, what really makes me personally mad. Is that literally everyone on the show except Regina was happy, and this time Regina didn’t even do anything to deserve the sadness. Yeah, in season 1 it was self bought, but this time Regina did everything right; she saved everyone, she got friendly with the people she used to hate, she started letting people in, and she even spared the life of the woman who tried to kill her. Yet she gets screwed again, and not one person tried to comfort her. And then a little ways down the road Rumps is getting his happy ending. He’s getting married to Belle despite the fact that he out-right lied to her, murdered Zelena, didn’t even own up to it, didn’t even try to change for the better, etc. Yet he gets a happy ending in the finale and Regina doesn’t.

Long story short, I’m butthurt (hell, I ain’t even denying that one) over this because they seemingly just threw character development out the window, they could have added drama anywhere else, and they gave everyone but Regina happiness again.

Emma

I've made various 코멘트 on that topic; As of Emma saving a life. Her intentions were good, her 심장 in the right place. But she damn well knew that making even the very slightest change could ruin a lot of things. And then she goes and meddles with something as huge as life and death. That's something I believe no one should toy with. Marian was supposed to die, and it's just balance upsetting to change that. There was also this one I mean, now that my disappointment subsided I feel like I could give Emma 더 많이 leeway, it's Rumps that has me mad still. I just don't like the situation. I'm 더 많이 so annoyed...disappointed? With Emma. It's like I really want to keep liking her, but the writers are really making that tough. I don't hate Emma, I hate where the writers are taking her. I hope they fix it in season 4. And this That's kind of what was getting to me. The fact that she kept trying to run off to NYC, but I managed to give her some leeway with that as well. It's just like I wish they'd keep her personality straight, she wasn't this uptight in season 1.
xD That's basically what I'm doing at this point, I blame the writers for Emma's regression and Rumps for...pretty much everything else. With Emma, I've kind of cast her to the side in a sense. I don't hate her. I don't like her. I'm just waiting.
And finally Long story short; I feel like they have been ruining Emma's character since season 2. She just hasn't been herself. I can't put my finger on why, but she's just not being Emma. I understand what she did, she had good intent. It was essentially the right thing to do. However, meddling with such a huge aspect of time is not the brightest no matter who's doing the meddling. And my natural Regina bias has set the alarm bells ringing.

Basically with Emma, I loved her in season one. She was totally kick 나귀, 엉덩이 and I enjoyed seeing her feud with Regina. It was fun to watch and well written. She was well written. I don't know what happened this season. I'm placing the cards on the fact that she 로스트 her memories and got new ones, and that her brain is still fuzzy from that.

It started when she came back talking about how she was gonna just up and take Henry back to NYC. I know most of 당신 are probably thinking 'you're just mad because she's taking him from Gina.' That's only part of it...a large part. :P But no, in all seriousness. It bothers me that she was just so willing to leave her parents after they just found each other. That she was just willing to take Henry away from them. The fact that she was ready to take Henry away from the place he was trying to get her to save and stay in since season one and then claiming 'he's just a kid, all he cares about is getting 초콜릿 우유 and cereal.' (or something like that.
I was abosoultly willing to go easy on her; I mean she finally had something nice in NYC and it's understandable that she was reluctant to leave it. But her family. The way she handled it. She wasn't even gonna tell Gina. The woman who raised him for like 10 years.

With the whole Marian thing. That one I'm also trying to be fair about; on one hand everyone knows 당신 shouldn't toy with something as huge as death, especially when time traveling. But then again, I honestly don't think I'd be able to just let her die. But I hate how it's effecting Gina. My entire opinion of the characters in the show are centered around her.
And that's why I'm just setting Emma to the side in a sense. I don't hate her but I don't like her. I'm kind of just waiting to see how it goes before I keep her in my 상단, 맨 위로 ten 또는 knock her to the bottom. To answer the 질문 about whether 또는 not I'm bipolar about her character 또는 not; I wouldn't say bipolar. Just waiting for something to solidify her into either position whilst trying to keep an open mind.

I honestly don't know...the whole situation was a mess thanks to our 가장 좋아하는 imp.

Speaking of our 가장 좋아하는 imp;

Rumps/Rumps Killing Zelena

I feel like his whole redemption is a joke. This is another thing I don't pin on him, but on the writers. I feel like he never really made any progress at all. Like he'd say that he was trying but then goes back on it. The one thing he did do was the whole defeating Pan. But other than that he made no effort to try to stop lying to Belle 또는 abusing his power.

This one I don't pin on Rumple entirely. I pin it on poor writing. They just don't seem to know what they're doing with his character. Gina too, like on 분 they're good the 다음 they're killing people. It's like I get it, they want to show that 당신 can't truly get rid of 당신 bad side and it takes time. But I think they going about it in the wrong way and that they are making the regressions to extreme for both characters.

It annoys me very much that Rumple is getting married and such and a semi-bright future yet Regina who has made astoundingly amazing progress in her redemption is left with absolutely nothing but her own darkness and misery again.

I actually really liked Zelena, she was so awesome and I was totally psyched to see Gina give her a 초 chance as I thought Gina would kill her. I was happy to see her alive and happy to see her gain the possibility for a 초 try and then low and behold Rumps takes it.

To go with that, a good number of people will probably point their finger at Regina for 1.) killing Zelena and 2.) casting another curse *CoughLeroyCough*. Because it seems that no matter how much good she does, they always hate on her anyhow. Not to mention, she wasn't with Emma, Hook, Snow, and David when it happened. Hopefully this time they'll have the sense to accuse the one who wanted to kill Zelena in the first place and not the one who saved her from that man.

For thirds, Gina was finally happy and he screwed that one up...again. Was it not bad enough that he manipulated her into casting the last curse. That he had caused her to feel such misery and hopelessness the last time. And oh look, she finally made herself happy again finally started to undo some of that damage he'd done. And then he indirectly takes away her chance at a happy life again.

And if I gather right from the previews--she's the evil 퀸 again. Which is a terrible shame after all that amazing character development. He basically reset all she worked for. All the effort she put into changing herself. I mean for freaks sake I'd 사랑 to tell those people with double standards to tell me that Rumple is a better person and deserves a 초 shot 더 많이 than Gina now!

For fourths, everyone else was happy as well. Like there was not one person who didn't seem happy that Zelena was safely locked away and that the baby was safe. Emma was smiling, Hook, Henry. Everyone. And now it's over. Short lived.

Fifthly, the baby. That poor baby. Snow's gonna lose another. The Charmings thought they'd have another shot at raising a baby from the start. But nope, not even. And from the looks of it, that baby just poofs out of existence.

Sixthly, Belle trusted him. What the heck was that? I was never really fond of Rumbelle. I found it to be borderline abusive verbally and physically. But I didn't hate it, I tolerated it. I just can't anymore--that was like the last straw. She trusted him, and it wasn't just any trust it was like, he offered her a really big piece of him as a gift for trusting him so...and it wasn't even real. No, she trusted him not to go after Zelena, he promised he wouldn't, he did. He used that marriage proposal to deceive her. And I really do hope she finds out.

Seventh Gina Was finally happy!!!

Eighth, 99% sure that Neal wouldn't have wanted him to extract vengeance like that, as he was the one who kept telling him to change. Throughout his whole life Neal was trying to cope with the bad things his father had done. Throughout all of season two he was trying to get his dad to stop. And in season 3 he finally got him to and was really proud 'you really have changed'. And then he dies, and Rumple picks the habit back up.

And point nine, I was really hoping to see some 더 많이 sisterhood with Gina and Zelena.

And also, are we not going to discuss that even Rumps was opposed to her curse succeeding. Yet he's the one to enact it. Like really, he's to smug to realize that he just unleashed the very thing his son died to prevent.

I seriously had just moved him out of my bottom five characters--guess who's back in it?

The only two things I liked about it is that it keeps the plot moving (and that I can no say with certainty that Gina is 더 많이 morally correct when arguing with a hater) and the fact that Emma can't take Henry back to NYC.

Marion

Despite it all, I don't want her to die. She's a nice woman. She's innocent, she didn't do anything wrong. However if its her 또는 Gina I'll always choose Gina. I want OQ to happen so much but I don't think Marion should have to die to make it happen. It would be beyond hypocritical of me to say such.
That in mind I don't hate Marion, I don't even dislike her.

Other General Opinons

사무용 겉옷, 전반적인 I'm most disappointed in the fact that they are pretty much tossing all Regina's progress out the window. I can't fathom why they are doing that. I just hope her threat to Emma was an empty one and she's just going to sit in her room and hope someone helps her. It would kill me to see her regress again. And I'm not to thrilled to see how the Gina antis will gloat and cheer.

Another biggy that has been getting me this season is all the rules being broken. Kataralover and I were discussing this. He (ha ha, I remembered this time!) was saying that he thought bringing Marion back should come with a price (or maybe just time travel in general). Well anyhow it came down to me complaining about how they seemed to throw 'all magic comes with a price' out the window. It's 더 많이 like 'all Regina's magic comes with a price.' Exactly, all magic comes at a price. But then again they seemed to be throwing away the 'dead is dead' thing...I mean I 사랑 this show but hot damn, these rules seem to only apply to Regina. I mean Emma's been using magic over and over and didn't pay a cent. Same with Zelena, 'til Rumps killed her. And it seems like dead is not dead; Rumps came back, Blue came back, Marian, Charming...just not the people Regina loves.

They've just been super inconsistent with 'dead is dead' and 'all magic...' and it's a bit of a bother. I'm not saying it's the bane of the show, but the feeling is akin to having a piece of 팝콘 stuck in your teeth. Plot hole 팝콘 to be exact.

That's pretty much all I have to rant about. I hope 당신 guys don't get the wrong idea; I 사랑 the show loads, Adam and Eddy are great and I appreciate them putting all this work into Once. But there are just some things that get under my skin. Adam and Eddy are amazing writers and that's what's killing me; I know they're better than this.
Anyhow thanks for reading, 코멘트 and respectful disagreeing is welcome.
