What if the 아프가니스탄 사람, 아프가니스탄 tribe in "Newborn King" had known of the baby's true gender?

In the episode "Newborn King," the 아프가니스탄 사람, 아프가니스탄 tribe sent Russian mercenaries after the pregnant marine in order to get their hands on the baby - if the baby were male, he would be the heir to some tribal property. As we all know, however, the baby turned out not to be male. Does this fact disqualify the baby from being the future heir to that property? If the Afghans and/or Russians had known of the baby's true gender in advance, would they still have gone after the woman?
