Though it's been a while since the last one (link) I had a chance to attend 더 많이 concerts. Naturally I was super enthusiastic about them all and wanted to share the experiences again.

Yellowcard

So I got the pleasure of seeing one of their last concerts, they announced that they were calling it quits at the show I was attending. So that was pretty cool to know that I got to see them before they disbanded. I was kind of sandwiched in the middle of the crowd (which is evidently worse than the back) though so I didn't have a great view. But I heard that the violinist did a back flip which sounded neat lol. And they played Ocean Avenue which was my 가장 좋아하는 의해 them.

Good Charlotte

I kind of caught these guys near the end. So I was in the very back and couldn't see quite clearly. However they played 3 of my 5 favorites including; The River, I Just Wanna Live, and I Don't Want To Be In Love. Before playing I Don't Wanna Be In 사랑 Joel was all like "that's a lie though, I do wanna be in love. 사랑 is here, I'm not high but it is." So that was pretty silly and fun. I'd imagine that they may have played Boys and Girls and The Anthem before I got there.

Cruel Hand

I actually had no clue who these guys were before seeing them. Like the other bands I was near the back so I couldn't see much but they're 음악 had a good and clear sound and from what I could see there was a lot of headbanging and jumping around.

Ice Nine Kills

And once again I was near the back and being so short I could only really see the guy with the white guitar. I don't know this band well either so all I can say is 'rock on white 기타 bro, ya did good'. I ended up enjoying what I heard though; these guys have great screaming vocals.

Crown The Empire

This time I was near the back but at least I got to stand under a shady tent lol. I couldn't see any of the band members but I got a good view of the banner in the background and this giant inflatable 우주 suit on the corner of the sage. So I kind of just stared at that as the band preformed. Again they had a pretty good sound and 당신 could clearly hear the vocals.

Veil Of Maya

I saw these guys from a distance as well; they were preforming at the stage over. But oddly I got a clearer view of them lol. The one guy was rocking a neon 셔츠 and the vocalist went on a crowd surfing adventure. They're a screamo band so I could't understand a word they were 노래 but it was catchy enough. My brother enjoyed them more.

Ballyhoo

This one I snagged a 좌석 closer to the front and in the middle. So I got to see more. And they captured my attention especially when they picked up the flag with their band name and walked with it down the aisle.

Emarose

Now this one I actually got a good view of and the lead vocalist did two backflips while 노래 and that was amazing to see. He followed this up 의해 climbing to the 상단, 맨 위로 of the stage banners and 노래 from up there. Furthermore, though I had no clue who these guys were prior, I got 더 많이 into their songs than the above few. They put on an amazing show if I do say so.

Falling In Reverse

Oh boy, these guys were so much fun. Again I was near the back but they were great no less. For example it was really hot out there and so people were kind of low on energy. So Ronnie is up there and he's trying to get people to form a 원, 동그라미 pit but they had no energy to do it and he just mockingly goes 'ehhh it's to hot out here!' and then proceeds to tell the crowd that he dared a fellow bandmate to wear a long sleeved leather 재킷, 자 켓 that 일 so if he could do it we could too. And then he threatened to go 집 if people didn't start getting excited. He was just hilarious. What's even better is that the the band started playing Bad Girls Club but people weren't 노래 loud enough so he stops playing and says "now we're gonna try this again and you're going to sing louder." And he starts the song over and that was probably one of the funniest things to happen at a 음악회, 콘서트 since I saw One Eye'd Doll. Naturally Ronnie closed his performance 의해 dropping a banner that said you're an asshole and then asked the crowd to raise their hands of they were assholes before saying me too and then 노래 the final song. In other words these guys were a riot and I'd totally see them again.

Vanna

I wasn't really familiar with this band prior so I saw them while waiting for Ateryu but they managed to capture my attention. They had a very uplifting speech at the beginning of their performance about how everyone is valuable and that people need to stay strong because things will get better and that their 음악 should be a sanctuary. They even included the crowd waiting at the other stage for Arteryu in their performance. And I thought that, that was neat. Needless to say I ended up searching up their 음악 when I got home.

Ateryu

So these guys were definitely worth the wait. For them I was still in the middle but found a spot where I could see better. While the lead vocalist never really entered the crowd he was also extremely funny. Before one of his songs he shouted "for this one I'd like to see everyone clap your hands...okay, now your buttcheeks!" And sometime after that, going back to the reoccurring heat theme, he looked up at the clouds and said something along the lines of "thank God these are here for us. The sun has been making everything difficult." And then got everyone to chant fuck the sun. After which he said "okay this is why we're screwing the 다음 generation over." And then tried to get the crowd to say that the sun is good, but it didn't work. So he just got right into their cover version of 당신 Give 사랑 a Bad Name. It was a good time.

I See Stars

This is another band I just caught the end of which is kind of disappointing because I did want to see them. But I really liked what I did catch and the songs they chose to play were really neat.

Against The Current

I started off near the back with them but managed to the middle. I really, despite hearing them for the first time, loved their 음악 loads especially 'Runaway' and 'Paralyzed'. Chrissy just seemed like such a sweet person and I found it really humorous when she started talking about Pokemon Go.

The Heirs

다음 to Falling in Reverse I probably had the best time with these guys. Again I didn't know them before but I found a new band to love. For them I managed to get to the very front and just in time for a cool cover of 사랑 Lockdown. I really loved all of the songs that they played though. And I like their stage energy--how the female vocalist was constantly dancing and the male vocalist would play with this white rose. Good band, they need 더 많이 fans.

Ghost Town

I was super excited to hear these guys play Creepy Girl and Trick 또는 Treat. They did not disappoint and got the crowd moving. They played some unreleased tracks too and the lead vocalist would sing from within the crowd. They were a great way to close a great festival.

The Agonist

For this 음악회, 콘서트 I was very front and very center the whole time. I'm so glad though, that these guys were the opening act. Like the last time they were amazing. I think Vicky's mic wasn't working for a little but there; I couldn't hear her clean vocals as well as I heard her screams. But it was still a great show the instruments were wonderful. And Vicky seemed so excited to be there.

Arkona

Arkona was so so cool! They were the band I was moist excited for since I haven't seen them yet. Maria Arkhipova came out wearing this kind of traditional pagan Russian hooded outfit. And she killed it! Unfortunately they don't speak English so they couldn't talk to the crowd as much except to tank us for coming and 노래 with them. But they were still able to keep the crowd pumped regardless. Their songs were very amazing to see live I always 사랑 seeing bagpipes on stage lol. I was so happy to hear them preform Goi Rode Goi live it's such an amazing song. And afterwards one of the members handed me the set list too! My only complaint was that the lights got to bright at some point but that happened with all of the bands save for Epica.

Fleshgod Apocolypse

Holy crap man, these guys had such a unique stage energy. I wasn't as into their 음악 but when Veronica came out wearing a Victorian ball 겉옷, 가운 and 가장 무도회 mask (complete with a nifty staff) I was drawn right in! The guys came on shortly after also wearing Victorian suits. Their guitars all looked like violins and cellos and classical instruments and they brought in a grand piano! The 사무용 겉옷, 전반적인 aesthetic was wonderful. Going back to the stage energy; Veronica had this air of mystery and power about her and I loved it. The way she would lean in near the guitarist (if I remember right) was haunting. The way she pounded her staff was just wow. The only problem was that sometimes 당신 just couldn't hear her over the instruments and other singers. But I liked her opera the best.

Epica

First and foremost I loved Simone's shiny silver and black striped dress. It was very eye catching and went well with her ear perking vocals. As per usual Simone did amazing 당신 could hear her very clearly and her voice is heavenly. The keyboardist is super takented to he had this really neat curved keyboard and this keyboard on a 카트 that he was pushing around the stage and playing. The band, like last time had an excellent end stage energy to match their musical talent. It has been a rough 년 and this was just the quality I needed to distract me from it all for an 시간 또는 two. They were so happy to be on stage and interacted with the crowd. When I gave the Rock and roll fingers Mark returned them. Coen took a chick's phone and took selfies and gave it back to her. They were just so lively and in turn made the crowd lively too. Not to mention their humor; it was election night and Simone was like "this is a really weird night for America." And one of the members was like "Simone for president, make America epic again." Simone was also making jokes about the lighting with one song, "it's time to make our lighting engineer cry again." I caught the towel they threw out too. 10/10 would see them a third time!

Them Evils

For this 음악회, 콘서트 I had balcony seats. I have to admit that I wasn't very impressed 의해 this band. I mean I didn't dislike them but they didn't really stand out to me. They were just okay.

Holy White Hounds

I had the same opinion on these guys. Though in the end I think they became 더 많이 entertaining. Like they used a lot of humor (a lot of it, sexual). But it was funny no less. And then the lead vocalist was like "hey guys, I'll let 당신 in on a little secret. There's going to be another band playing after us called The Pretty Reckless." The crowd starts cheering an he turns to the band and says, "guys, they knew. They already knew." So it was actually pretty funny.

The Pretty Reckless

The first thing I have to say about TPR is that they sound exactly how they do on their CD's as they do live and that's very impressive to me. And they played all of my favorites; Fucked Up World, Heaven Knows, Going To Hell, and Take Me Down To The River. I also thought it was cool that Taylor broke out the tambourines for Fucked Up World. My only complaint is that they didn't have much of a stage presence.
