THE SHAMS
Based in San Francisco, The Shams are now venturing out of their comfort zone and launching their rebel sound to the rest of us. This week The Shams have two live shows in Los Angeles at two landmark Irish pubs: Finn McCool’s in Santa Monica on April 3rd and Molly Malone's on April 5th.

Not your average band, The Shams will grab your attention from the first note offering up a hard rocking, punked-up beat combined with fiddle playing and pure vocals. Front man and lead vocalist Sean Daly explains, "The Shams are not your stereotypical Irish band 노래 about the drink. While we do have a song 또는 two about drink (only customary), we tend to be poets, reflecting on our lives as Irish men living in America. Our sound combines each of our band member’s musical influences, from traditional ceili music, to punk and blue grass. We are explosive and ever-evolving, as our fiery live performances always showcase.”
The Bay-Area 가장 좋아하는 first began in 2011, when Daly and fellow Irishmen James Scragg (keyboards and drums) and Joey Kennedy (guitar) decided to team up. They brought in Texan Kevin Tregar Otton (fiddle), first generation Irish-American Tommy O’Mahoney (upright and electric bass) and Henry Moser (lead 기타 and back-up vocals) to round out this six-man band.
The Shams have previously released two CD’s, including “Go On 집 Boys,” available on iTunes, and their self-title debut CD, “The Shams.” They are currently working on their third.
