Hermione is one of the few characters in Harry Potter (the others being Luna and Bellatrix) and I like her but I'm not crazy about her. Although, I do think the story would've been more interesting with her as the protagonist. I mean, she's part of the group the villains are trying to destroy and the idea that she would be the one to defeat them, which would add to Voldemorts anger of not only her surviving but that someone of a group that he considers inferior can defeat him. She really should've been in Harry's place instead! Plus she'd actually deserve it because of how she works hard to prove herself because her background as a half-blood and constantly has to save Harry and Ron's asses regularly. Ron even says they'd be dead without her in their life. However, I better stop before I get into an even bigger rant.

Anyway, I do like Hermione but I LOVE Belle! It's clear that these are going to be Emma Watson's most famous roles. She not only captured the spirit and essence of the characters but she WAS Hermione and Belle! Plus I love how she added more to Belle to make her more like someone who really is odd at that time inventing things like a washing machine and showing her as smart for more than just reading books, despite that she mainly just reads fictional stories. Plus considering Emma said the animated Belle was one of her role models that influenced her as a person, I'd say she captured Belle, became her, and more.

Another paragraph I didn't plan to begin with. I guess it balances out the more negative one above lol. I'm a real windbag lol!
