I cant make starting the 초 CD of The curse of monkey island

A Friend of me gave me his cds of tales of monkey island and (like the 1 and 2) i played it with scumm on Ubuntu. I played the first cd and it didnt give me any problem, but i installed the 초 and it doesnt start, it opens the window of the game but after 1 초 it closes. I tried many times and my friend said that on his computer he didnt have any problem. Please help me cuz id like to continue this game! I 사랑 monkey island!!! D:

저기요 there! I stilll have that problem but well i do as 당신 do, i copy all the files and run them on ScmmVM but as i said, it doesnt start and I dont know why, even now with my new computer it does the same thing.

Strange. There must be a way to get it to work, seeing as it runs okay for your friend. I've found some 더 많이 information on the ScummVM 포럼 that might help 당신 pinpoint what needs to be done. It might just be that a single file is missing 또는 in the wrong place. If 당신 still have no luck, maybe try playing with the game's settings (by selecting it in ScummVM and then choosing "Edit Game") in case something about it is incompatible with your computers. I think there must be a way to get it working, it might just take a bit of experimenting!
