The good people of Canada never had a chance to view the Michael Jackson documentary, "Gone Too Soon" -- and now the owners of the flick are declaring war on the distributor ... claiming he personally screwed the entire country.
TMZ obtained a lawsuit filed 의해 Objective Films, LLC -- in which they claim they agreed to sell the French and Canadian distribution rights to a company headed 의해 a guy named Pierre Turgeon for $100k back in 2009.
Objective says they got the first $50k -- but Turgeon flaked on the back half ... and then tried to back out of the deal altogether. Objective was able to get the flick distributed in France ... Canada wasn't so lucky.

Michael Jackson's estate is lashing out at the people behind a new MJ documentary set to debut in 일본 tomorrow -- claiming 팬 are being duped into believing the flick was authorized 의해 Team MJ.
The estate has released a scathing statement claiming that 플라밍고 Features is promoting the movie in a way that is misleading MJ's 팬 into believing the film -- shot 의해 former MJ confidante Marc Schaffel -- was properly authorized.
The estate also makes it clear it doesn't endorse the flick and none of the profits will benefit MJ's children. They also note that the movie is not allowed to contain any of Michael's music.
Schaffel doesn't appear to be bothered -- the above 사진 was taken moments 이전 at the movie premiere in Tokyo ... where Schaffel took the stage and told 팬 Katherine Jackson sent along her best wishes.

Michael Jackson had some unexpected company drop 의해 this weekend -- a surprise visit from his close friend Stevie Wonder.
TMZ has confirmed that the singer and three of his children stopped 의해 Michael's tomb at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, CA this weekend to pay their respects.
According to Stevie's rep, Wonder and his kids had gone to the cemetery to visit Stevie's dearly departed mother -- but Stevie's children insisted they visit MJ too.
Wonder and MJ were famously close -- and at MJ's memorial last year, Stevie told the crowd he often let Michael know how much he loved him ... and was "at peace with that."

Lisa Marie Presley's desperate plea for 팬 to bring 더 많이 꽃 to Michael Jackson's tomb must have fallen on deaf ears -- because as of today the entrance to the tomb was pretty bare.
Michael Jackson's ex-wife complained about too much "empty space" around the singer's tomb on her MySpace page yesterday -- and urged 팬 to fill the void with lots of sunflowers ... but obviously that didn't happen.
팬 have since fired back, claiming they've been faithfully doing their part flowers-wise since MJ died last year.

Bravado International Group -- which markets all things Michael -- is suing T-Line Design, Inc. based in Oregon.
According to the federal suit, obtained 의해 TMZ, T-Line is downright "defiant," sardonically 글쓰기 a blog that says, "...it SUCKS TOTAL BOLLOCKS when people steal those creations..."
The suit seeks $750 for each image illegally used, as well as statutory damages of $150,000.
