Rebecca drove Crystal home, mainly because Crystal couldn't drive yet...and they are the same age! Once they got to her house, she got out of the car. "Thanks, Rebecca! See 당신 다음 week!" She said. "Yeah, later, Crystal!" Rebecca replied, waving while Crystal went inside her house. Rebecca backed out of the driveway and headed on home. During the drive, she got out her Invincible CD and started playing it. First song that started, of course, is Unbreakable. She loved this song, but she skipped through to track 5, which was Heaven Can Wait, for on track 6 was 당신 Rock My World. She's had one part stuck in her head and she just had to get it out 의해 노래 the song, with her window rolled down. It was her's and Josh's song before they broke up...about a 월 ago. They have been going out for one 월 and nothing worked out because he wasn't a 팬 of Michael Jackson. He grew up with his music, but nothing happened with them.

Once the song ended, she was back at her house. She turned off the car and went inside. "Mom, I'm back from dropping Crystal off at home." She said. No response came back. "Mother? 당신 here?" She asked. She went around the house and didn't see anyone...until she looked behind her. "Holy mother of Ra! 당신 scared me, mother." She didn't know her mother always drank after work. She saw bottles upon bottles of booze in the 부엌, 주방 and knew right then and there that she was drunk. 'Oh no...' She thought and started to back away. She knew once her mother was drunk, she gets abusive. Rebecca ran to her room and closed the door. She was afraid when her mother is drunk. She's been abused so much when she was little. She locked her door and went to her bed, pulling her knees up to her chest and just sat there. She remembered all the hurt she'd gone through. She still had bruises on her legs and cuts on her arms and whip marks on her back. With the fact that she had vitiligo made it worse. She being half Egyptian and half American...her mother didn't like it. When she's drunk, her mother would tell her how much she hated half Americans. She looked at her bruises and cried. She couldn't imagine the pain Michael Jackson went through...
Meanwhile, with Michael
Michael was on his computer, on twitter, looking at 랜덤 tweets others had tweeted. Then he saw one that he didn't see before that was just tweeted. He read it out loud to himself. "Y did this have to happen? My mother is drunk...& she's abused me so much...my bruises scar me 4 life & so do these cuts & whip slashes on my back..." He read. His hand went to his mouth and went to the 프로필 of who wrote it. He saw the name. "Rebecca Ishtar, 22, born in Cairo, Egypt, raised in Los Angeles, California. I have vitiligo and my mother hates it. I sing sometimes and dance, and mother hates that, too. I look and act like a freak..." He looked over the other things shes said. He felt worried about her so he clicked follow and tweeted to her: "You aren't a freak. Don't worry abt wut others say. I don't worry about that." (Me: his twitter name is invincible_king7 in this fantasy.) Once the tweet was sent, he waited for her reply. She soon did. She sent back: "thank 당신 so much for caring. that's kind of you." He smiled. 'She didn't say anything about having vitiligo...that's something she and I have in common then.' He thought. They continued tweeting until about 9 pm. Once he didn't get a tweet back from her, he assumed she went to bed. "I guess I should get to bed, too. Got things to do tomorrow." He said to himself. He was glad she didn't see his name, otherwise, she'd freak out. He signed out of twitter and got into his pajamas and went to bed.
Back in Rebecca's room
She logged out of twitter and got her pjs on. She was happy someone actually said that she didn't need to worry about what others think about her. "Thank you...whoever 당신 are." She said. She didn't bother 읽기 the person's profile, but she was glad she met a new friend on twitter. The only one on twitter that she'd talk to was Crystal and she wasn't on tonight. She looked at her clock and saw that it was 9:30 pm. "Well, time for bed. I think mother is asleep, so there's no need in suffering from her drunken rage." She muttered to herself as she got into bed. She put her tickets and backstage pass in her nightstand and turned off the light. She soon fell asleep, thinking of what's gonna happen 다음 week at Michael Jackson's album signing.

Rivera continued, “That is entirely fitting I’m sure, but I personally can’t get over the memory of 2005. When Michael Jackson stood essentially alone and accused and convicted in the minds of many of the most perverse crime.”
