I think the movie would be more interesting if Merida has a love relationship with a good-looking man!

Meh, that would be nice if there's a great guy for her (not NECESSARILY "good-looking!"), but I also wouldn't mind seeing her break with tradition...nothing wrong at all with her remaining single. I could like that a lot, too, and I doubt that the movie will NEED romance to make it extremely interesting.

And a princess does not require a prince.

i never heard of any law, that said that you have to got a lover to be a princess *rolleye*
i would hate it if she had one. the fact that she might not get a goofy sidekick lover, makes her interesting for me.
if she gets one, she will be just like aaaaaall the other princesses and that concept is REALLY overdone

I'm kind of into both. I mean I love that she's independent and doesn't revolve her whole story over a guy. However I do love a good romance and hers would've been interesting with one. I don't think it's like she's never going to get married, she's just not ready yet.

Love wouldn't destroy her life just add in a best friend and a start of a family....they say there is no greater joy......I'm sure the mother daughter story of brave would be interesting when merida becomes a mother!

I find it so boring now that EVERY princess has a man, it's great to see a new princess who isn't just looking for romance, that is what makes Merida storng and unique :)
