Melanie Martinez just released her debut album,

, last August, but she is already plotting her sophomore LP—and according to the Fuse First artist, she already knows “exactly what it’s gonna be” and how the character of Cry Baby will relate to the central plot.

“Cry Baby is still a character in the next album, but it’s… her stepping outside of her family life and love life, and more focusing on her being like a narrator,” Martinez explains. Watch above and she goes more in-depth on her highly anticipated second album.
