Hard to believe that, eh? Well, I did love David. I was crying for weeks. Then, miraculously, Matt Smith became my third favourite doctor! Then second... then first. Now I'm glad he's here. He's my number 1 crush XD

i was crying a bit at davids ending but i don't know why cause i didn't really watch that many episodes with him in it. And when i saw him 'transform' into matt i just said no,no i don't like him and he just won't do and he can't pull it off, but when i watched the eleventh hour i fell in love with him! :D

i didnt want david to leave and i dident like matt at frist i said ill still watch dr. who coz it my fav show and now i love him funny frist empreshons san be so wrong

I hate him! He looked horrible, I remember that ep where David regenerated I sat in the conner of the room refusing to watch it! And a year later I watch the Christmas ep and competely fall head over heels for matt <333

I was crying for ages when David went and hated Matt but watched the Eleventh Hour because DW was one of my fav shows but he turned out cool and crazy!

when i first saw him i thought he was ugly sorry guys! but he's a really nice guy and good looking but i get used to him being the doctor but i do miss david.

At first i didn't like him. When we saw him for the first time in the show after the 10th doctor had regenerated i thought. "What? This guy is crazy, the series is just going to go downhill now." But i watched the first episode of series 5, and at the end i thought - "He's brilliant!" Tennants a great actor but i love how matt smith can be serious whilst bieng a mad man with a box, and coming out with great one liners! :)

I've never seen a single "Dr. Who" ever, so nothing to compare.
Just flipping the channels, nothing on and landed on the BBC. Now I've managed to watch the last 3 episodes of this (I gather) "new" Who..and I found Matt Smith's portrayal to be eccentric, vulnerable, loveable & fun...enough to remember to try to remember to watch the show.

I was so upset about David I hated Matt because he was taking his place. It didn't matter who it was I would have hated them. But now that I've worked through my depression over David I really do like Matt.

He is the reason I started watching Doctor Who

I picked: Querky,Cute,Funny,Fantastic and an all round brilliant guy.Because he is all those things & more. He is a great actor.I love him as the Doctor & as himself.I've done some reading about him & he seems like a person who would make a great friend.If I were alot younger I could go for him, but alas I'm too old so friend is what I would like to be to him.Love ya Matt.

He's funny! I guess The Eleventh Hour was one of my favorite episodes.

From the first time I saw him till the next time I saw him there wasn't any further ado on a love nor hate way. I liked him and heck yeah he is totally cute but I chose not to give Doctor Who (the first time I saw him) a chance back then because I didn't think it would be something for me but boy, I was wrong!

When I finally, although by coincidence, gave Doctor Who a shot. I was blown away. It literally did not take longer than 30 seconds before I fell in love with not only the show but Matt as well. He is brilliant! <3
