I began watching because a friend of mine in middle school told me about it, at the time it was the talk of the new season of 1993. Seeing the striking man in blue, and his feisty lady I could only imagine what life could be like with them around. 당신 definitely would be living on the edge! 또는 soaring above the clouds.
The show had the mystery, and effects of any 상단, 맨 위로 rate show. it held it's audience on the seat, and molded me into the viewer I am today. So what am I trying to say? Granted I was amused 의해 the nineties styles and large cell phones, and some campy humor. But I began to realize what I loved about the show again.
It's not the effects, humor, 또는 life and death moments...it was the quiet vulnerability of Lois and Clark. Both made of steel in a way on the outside, but genuinely looking for some 사랑 and kindness in the world on the inside. They enthralled me, and captured my heart, and they have once again.
Lois and Clark is one of those few shows that live for a short time but stay with 당신 for much longer. 당신 can see how they 사랑 each other, and how they touch your heart. They leave 당신 with pearls of wisdom to carry through your own life, and give 당신 that hope to fight through the struggle just for one 더 많이 day!
It's that kind of attraction that kept the show running. I find it hard to believe that some nay sayers believe the show was cancelled because Lois married Clark, and it was pointless after. That is bull. The show was so much better after the tugging and teasing and countless struggles of the 심장 gave way to their true love.
사랑 that transcends time and space. What 더 많이 can 당신 ask of a 사랑 story? Not to have a happy ending, to continue to repeat itself and never truly have your characters unite? No! The true test of a show is it's ability to live long after the struggle is at an end. I mean really who wanted to see them fight, and continue to 사랑 from afar for another 2 years! Not me!
Can 당신 tell me 당신 don't get excited to hear that theme song?
This Lois and Clark made it possible for the 스몰빌 characters to be mainstream television. Before Lois and Clark no other 슈퍼맨 character with Lois came from 영화 to TV. One could say it paved the way for Smallville's success.
