​Perrie Edwards has praised Cheryl Fernandez-Vernini for being a great friend to her recently, sharing that Chezza has given her some great advice over the past difficult few months.

Reports about Cheryl first reaching out to Perrie emerged back in November, with sources at the time claiming that Chez was encouraging her not to get too bogged in speculation about her personal life and to focus all her energy on work instead. 

Now, Perrie has publicly thanked Chez for her continuous kindness and support, telling The Sun that she genuinely is one of the nicest people in the world: "Cheryl is incredible. She has been a very good friend to me, particularly recently"

Adding that they\'ve both been through a similar situation -  you know, what with being in literally massive girlbands and having to deal with some pretty invasive headlines along the way, she continued: "She is the nicest person in the world. She knows what we\'ve gone through and has great advice."
