So, who would stand 의해 her husband when he’s accused of being a serial rapist?

Actress Gayatri Bahl was brought in to do exactly that in last night’s “Decaying Morality” episode of LAW & ORDER: SVU.

I had a chance to catch up with Gayatri Bahl to find out 더 많이 about her experience working on the show.


What can 당신 tell us about your role in “Law & Order: SVU”?

GAYATRI: I play the wife of the prominent dentist, Dr. Neil Alexander, played 의해 Paul Adelstein ("Scandal," "Private Practice"), who gets caught up in the investigation.

How was it to work alongside this veteran cast?

GAYATRI: Kind of surreal! They have really been doing this for such a long time, but they are still all so friendly, humble and welcoming :)

What would 당신 consider your characters ‘best’ quality? And their ‘worst’?

GAYATRI: Her best is that she 'stands 의해 her husband'.
Her worst is that, well, she 'stands 의해 her husband, no matter what'.

Any interesting stories from the set 당신 can share with us?

GAYATRI: I actually started out in 발리우드 and Danny Pino was really interested in how the biz is out there. He took the time to learn about where I started out and why I'm now in NYC. It was cool to see that level of curiosity in someone who is such a well-known TV Star.

What’s the biggest lesson 당신 learned from working on this project?

GAYATRI: Stay passionate. Stay committed. The SVU cast and crew are just as excited about this coming episode as we are, even though they've been doing it for 16 years!
