stars Jones and Kate McKinnon sat down with PEOPLE and

editorial director Jess Cagle for a rapid-fire Q&A session known as The Cagle Exercise – and they didn\'t hold back.

Jones, 48, admitted that her friends would describe her as "loud and wrong," but that they would be surprised to learn that she\'s afraid of the dark. McKinnon, 32, on the other hand, said people know her simply to be "covered in cat hair," but revealed that she\'s especially good at doing accents.

," said Jones, adding that it\'s also the subject she can talk about for hours.

As for McKinnon, she said she feels the most confident when she is "strolling down the sidewalk in my fashion sweats."
