It's hard to choose from this! I actually started watching K-On because of Azusa (and the characters are just so cute), so I guess I could've picked "the characters appearances and/or personalities." But after (and during) watching it I loved the show for the characters' friendship. The adorable friendship made me love the characters even more. But besides that I also like everything else on this list.

All of these are what makes K-ON a great anime. If any of these features had been under-developed, K-ON probably would have sucked, but it ended up being good because of the attention being focused equally amongst everything and this attention not being less than what it deserved (and got).
