The 망가 relaunched in April 2011 with two seperate storylines published in 망가 Time Kirara and 망가 Time Kirara Carat. A 13-episode 아니메 adaptation produced 의해 Kyoto 애니메이션 aired in 일본 between April and June 2009. An additional original video 애니메이션 (OVA) episode was released in January 2010. A 26-episode 초 season, titled K-On!! (with two exclamation marks), aired in 일본 between April and September 2010, with an OVA episode released in March 2011. After the final TV 아니메 episode of K-On!! aired, an 아니메 film was announced to be in production 의해 Kyoto 애니메이션 in 년 2011!!

Singer Azusa's Mini Event to Be Streamed Live May 18
The Ustream website will stream a mini event 의해 singer-songwriter Azusa live to computers worldwide on Wednesday, May 18 at 9:30 p.m. in 일본 (8:30 a.m. EDT). The live event will take place at the seventh floor event area at Tower Records' Shinjuku store in Tokyo. Azusa sang the opening theme song for Moshidora, the ending theme song for Astarotte's Toy, and the opening theme songs for Amagami SS. Voice actress Yōko Hikasa (Moshidora's Minami Kawashima, K-ON!'s Mio Akiyama) will emcee the event.
