After making the first official movie debut in “Sea Fog”, Yoochun has been nominated for the “2014 Grand Bell Awards” this year. This marks as Yoochun’s first nomination as a movie actor in the prestigious award.

Yoochun is going for the award alongside strong contenders: Ahn Jae Hong (The King of Jokgu), Yeo Jin Goo (Hwayi), Im Si Wan (The Attorney) and Choi Jin Hyuk (The Divine Movie). The movie itself has also been nominated for other categories: “Best Supporting Actress,” “Best New Director,” “Best Cinematography,” and “Best Lighting.”

“Grand Bell Awards,” or also known as “Daejong Film Awards” is an the oldest annual awards ceremony presented by The Motion Pictures Association of Korea and have been called as the Korean’s Academy Awards.

Meanwhile, Yoochun himself is no stranger to being awarded for his acting. He has been bagging lots of awards for his excellence in the small screen since 2010. He won his first award for his movie debut this year in the 34th Korean Association of Film Critics Awards.

Will Yoochun end up with another award this year? Stay tuned for the 51st “Daejong Film Awards,” which will be held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul on November 21.
