The two stars are close 프렌즈 and Gomez - who is dating teenage 노래 sensation Justin Bieber - knows she can always turn to the 사랑 Story hitmaker when she needs advice.
Gomez said: "Every problem I ever have is healable 의해 Taylor Swift.
"What I 사랑 about Taylor is she believes in the whole 사랑 story - Prince Charming, soul mates. Because of her, I haven't 로스트 faith."
Gomez also tries to be a supportive friend to Swift, and revealed she helped the 21-year-old beauty through her 2008 스플릿, 분할 from Joe Jonas.
She explained: "When Taylor was going through a hard time breaking up with Joe Jonas, we'd make each other playlists.
"I'd send her some girl-empowering 음악 and she'd send some back.

"We had Since U Been Gone 의해 Kelly Clarkson and Hot N Cold 의해 Katy Perry."
As well as Swift, Gomez is also 프렌즈 with Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus, and although there are pop rivals the Monte Carlo actress has never felt jealous of their successes.
She told 상단, 맨 위로 of the Pops magazine: "It's not normal for me to feel jealous. I'm competitive with myself, 더 많이 than anything.
"And anyway, all of my 프렌즈 in the business are bigger than me."
