The Deacy Amp is a small, one-watt, roughly 5 inches (12.7 cm) amplifier created 의해 and named after 퀸 bassist John Deacon and used 의해 guitarist Brian May.
It was created in the early 1970s using an amplifier circuit board found in a skip 의해 Deacon and stationed into a Hi-Fi speaker cabinet, powered 의해 a 9-volt battery. The amp was used along with May's Red Special 기타 and his treble-booster to produce sounds reminiscent of various orchestral instruments.
