Lee Hyun Woo and 아이유 are longtime friends, and over the years there has been some speculation over the nature of their relationship. On the June 11 episode of “Happy Together,” Lee Hyun Woo talks about what it’s like to be the subject of such rumors and clarifies that they are not dating.

It was rumored in 2013 that the two of them were seeing each other after they were spotted at a movie theater together. However, their agencies both denied that they were in a relationship, and stated that their managers had been with them at the theater as well.

Singer 아이유 (link) is reportedly in talks to be the female lead of a new drama on KBS 2TV.

According to a KBS associate on March 2, 아이유 has been suggested as the female lead of a drama called “Producer” (working title). The part is that of a 인기 별, 스타 singer.

The associate said, “It is true that 아이유 is being discussed as the female lead of ‘Producer,’ but it has not been confirmed. There are no confirmations for the casting besides Cha Tae Hyun.” (link)
