As she prepared for her role as a 상단, 맨 위로 singer in the new KBS drama, The Producers, 아이유 said the people that she studied included f(x)′s Krystal, 4minute′s Hyuna, and SNSD.
On May 11, the production presentation of The Producers took place at The Raum. There, 아이유 talked about Cindy, her drama character, and who she received inspiration from to create the character.
When asked which female singers she studied as examples, 아이유 replied, "It′s awkward, but I′ve been trying to follow after the idol group members who are nearby."
