200716 아이유 appointed as the promotional model for 'Kakao's new game!

'Kakao' announced on July 20 that they have appointed 아이유 as the new model for its 'Kakao Game.'

아이유 has been active as the main character for 'Kakao Game's splash video clip since early June, promoting as the brand's official model.

Now, 아이유 will be modeling for 'Kakao's latest game called 'Come over to my 집 for Kakao,' which is set for release some time in August.

'Kakao' relayed, "Because the special youthful aura and happiness showcased 의해 아이유 was a good match for the 'Kakao Game,' we have decided to have her be [our game's] spokesmodel."

It has just been confirmed that 아이유 will be starring opposite actor Lee Joonki in a new drama.

Entitled "Scarlet Heart", the new drama is the Korean version of a famous Chinese 텔레비전 series, which in turn was based on a book of the same title.

The drama is a romantic 판타지 in which a 21st century woman is sent back to a historical time period and is forced to adjust to a comparatively primative lifestyle.

The Chinese version of the drama was immensely 인기 all over Asia, resulting in high anticipation for the Korean version.
