I know there was talk (back in the day, like right after season five ended) of getting a new banner for season six. I'm just curious as to whether or not we're going through with that now or maybe a few episodes into season six.

I'm kinda with Numbers on switching the banner to exclude Kutner (sorry to those still sensitive about that, but he's technically no longer a cast member). But I don't care if the icon is switched, as long as it looks OK with the new banner (if we get one).

I just wanted to get the ball rolling because I know spot banner contests usually take over a week, once everyone submits stuff and the final banner is chosen.

I was just thinking that we haven't this one long at all compared to the last set. A change would be alright, though.

I think we should change it it is a cool banner but change is good well in some things. ;p

No way, not after last time. And this banner/icon combo hasn't been up very long at all. Plus, I am very, very opposed to excluding Kutner.

Still I wanna RANT ...GRRRR How can you think of
1.) changing the banner AGAIN?? Like missy said we already changed it and it's stupid to change a banner/icon so often, especially in such a big spot, it totally doesn't make sense. I don't know what you are planning, a new banner every new season?? A new banner every new episode maybe? Oh wouldn't that be great?
2.) excluding Kutner - Hello??? No words. That's just so wrong. He was a main character for almost two seasons, he had so much more screentime than Chase and Cameron in season 5 and still we didn't exclude them - so Kutner died and we immediately update the banner??? That's just fine, let's forget he was ever a part of the show.
3.) Change is good- but right now it feels like you are little too much for change! It's nice to keep things for a while, you know?

Sorry this and the other pick pissed me off. I love Kutner. I'm happy with the current banner/icon combo that hasn't been up for long.

Well sorry you're pissed Oli, but I know we've had this banner and stuff for atleast 6 months (maybe longer). And what's wrong with a new banner every season? The characters change looks nearly every season and we are always getting new spot members, so what's wrong with a little change?

And I don't know what you want me to say about Kutner. Most people don't want him on the banner, so that's how it's going to be, I suppose. It's kinda of like House said..."How many files until it's OK that Kutner's dead?" I'm sorry you feel so strongly about him, but if we have him on the new banner we might as well throw in Amber and Stacy, too.

I guess you'll just have to view things your way and if that means you are upset, that's unfortunate. The series of picks will show that the majority of people want a new banner without Kutner, and since you can't please everyone, might as well aim to please the masses.

Yeah too bad the masses are being a little unreasonable right now. It's just that this is the House MD spot,not only the House MD season 6 spot. It tells a history, not only reflects what's happening right now and it's idiotic (sorry for the word) to feel the need to change the banner only to exclude kutner, because he died. I mean if it's like that are we now also going to delete all the kutner icons and fanarts that have been made? Are we going to erase the whole history just to be "up to date"?
That's my opinion :)
(Oh and I wouldn't have a problem with including Amber and Stacy. They were also part of the show, they didn't have a role as big as Kutner's, but if some people feel the need it's unfair to include Kutner and not them, bring them.)
