Meaning the popularity can be good or bad, populer or not populer.

When I first got into the fandom, I was think everyone would be nuts over Italy or Japan. When I first started watching the series, I really never thought much of England. He was cute and funny, but I was never crazy about him. So when I saw everyone going nuts over him and him being the whore of all the polls, it really surprized me. I just never got why he was so populer, maybe because he's British.

Definitely England. I mean, I love England but I don't really see why he seems to be the most popular one out of all the characters.

I was really surprised to find out that Arthur is the most popular out of everybody. After all, it's called HETALIA, god damn it! Which means that Veneziano and Lovino (and maybe a few of their friends) would be the most popular ones. I have nothing against his popularity, but it definetly surprised me a great deal when I started being a fan of Hetalia

England's popularity surprised me, but so did Prussia's. Both of them are very well liked, I mean, it's not like I hate them and don't want them to be popular, it's just that sometimes they get more attention from fans than the other characters. When I first watched Hetalia, I thought Italy would be the most popular, so this surprised me.

I'm surprise by England

I'm surprised by Prussia's popularity the most. It's a little scary when some fans go nuts over Prussia. They're usually like "OMFG YOU'RE SO AWESOME!!! -foams at the mouth and falls over-" Like... calm down -chuckles- Silly fans. I find it a bit amusing but, it's a little scary at times.

I knew people would like England, but when I started getting into the fandom, I was just shocked by how much people love him (I'm not shocked in a bad way, I'm happy people like him)
