Does anyone know what happened to Crookshanks?

When Hermione goes to find the Horcruxes, what did she do with Crookshanks? Did he go with her parents 또는 what? He was my 가장 좋아하는 animal character and I was just wondering where he went.

Considering that he was her cat, that she made her parents relocate to Australia and Obliviated their memories of everything pertaining to her, I don't think she would have left Crookshanks to them. ("Where does that weird-looking cat come from ?")

I think the best option for Crookshanks is to remain at Hogwarts. Remember he's half magical (Kneazle) and maybe she deemed best for him to remain in a magical environment. Such a 성 is great for a smart cat as him, plenty of 우주 to lurk, nature, no cars, etc. Maybe she entrusted him to Minerva's care. Minerva is a cat-lover.

True, 당신 make good points. But how would she explain to Minerva that she needed someone to care for her cat without divulging that she wasn't coming back? Well, maybe Minerva only found it natural for that, because many muggleborns were thinking to make a run for it. But I think if she could have made her parents believe their names were Monica and something, she could've made them believe they owned a cat. But I see Crookshanks staying at Hogwarts. She should've given him to Ginny, she loves 고양이 too, remember?

당신 made good points too. Yes, I was under the impression that Muggle-borns were not that much welcome at Hogwarts when DH began. See the Muggle-born Registration Committee. Remember that Hermione is already of age then. She would have been summoned 의해 Umbridge.
