해리와 헤르미온느 Article: What the evidence points at.

Hello Harmony fans, I'm Aparajita and I'm new to this fanclub. Needless to say, I'm a H/Hr shipper.

I've been 읽기 quite a few 기사 and debates on the relationships in the Harry Potter series, and most of the opinions (by 헤론 fans) that I've come across have one thing in common: "Harmony 팬 read too much into the text and think it's evidence pointing towards H/Hr romance when it's actually not"

I thought a lot about this and came to the conclusion that they're right. Now before 당신 think I'm supporting them, let me make this clear: I don't think the evidence that we speak of, points towards either Harry 또는 Hermione having a crush on each other, but rather, it depicts what an actual relationship is composed of.

Their relationship is beyond teenage crushing and sexual tension. It's about pure love, trust, honesty and faith. It constitutes all those factors that make a relationship work in the long run. The 'evidence' that we keep talking about has nothing to do with either of them feeling sexually attracted towards each other. But it showcases the premise upon which most successful relationships are built.

JKR may not have intended to make Harry and Hermione a couple, but she unknowingly made them the only meaningful pair in the series. Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny have sexual attraction. But then what? Does sexual attraction warrant a lifelong relationship? They have no depth 또는 connection. Ginny is obsessed with THE Harry Potter and Ron is too insecure to be in a committed relationship.

I'm glad Harry and Hermione were not made canon 의해 JKR, because in that case we'd have missed out on a beautiful relationship that is H/Hr. Also, knowing how lame JKR is when it comes to romance, it's better off this way. Ironically, the best romance written 의해 her is between couples who couldn't get together - Severus/Lily and Harry/Hermione.

Heck, I would not have been so dissappointed with the epilogue had Harry, Ron and Hermione ended with 랜덤 people, rather than Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione ending up together - because sustaining 19 long years simply on the basis of attraction is not only schoolgirlish, it also detracts from the quality of the series.

In the end, Harry and Hermione is a curiously appealing relationship because they lie on the line between 'friends and something more', yet avoiding the moonlighting curse so beautifully.

OnlyHarmioneHJP I absolutely agree!!! The H/Hr coupling is strong because their overall connection is what is needed to be in a real, working relationship. All the nonsense we see between R/Hr and H/G is all about adolescent atrraction and immediate fulfillment. H/Hr's relationship is the kind that develops naturally, is completely effortless and would sustain throughout the years. And you are ABSOLUTELY right about the best romances in the series. As written, Harry/Hermione and Severus/Lily have endless amounts of potential to be these astondingly amazing couples, and they are the ones who aren't together. I think our thinking on this has something to do with the fact that our imaginations are allowed to create the relationships between the pairings that are lacking from the text, and it is in that sense alone that I can accept that they are not canon. Very well stated! You took the words right out of my mind!!

randompanda ...sorry but that's nothing new. Most fans that point that "read in between the lines" as they say aren't convinced of some secret relationship but what your saying about a real trusting one. Also I have to disagree, I do wish harmony was canon. You say it's better this way since JKR sucks at romance, but the reason she sucks at romance was because ron/hermione + harry/ginny is canon. If harmony was canon she wouldn't suck at romance would she? Sorry i'm not trying to insult your article, it's just so similar to the rest of the articles i felt like pointing it out.

OnlyHarmioneHJP In regards to randompanda's comment, I think crookshanky meant it's better that Harmony isn't canon because it's pretty apparent that JKR would have messed up their pairing, just as she has with the pairings she made. I think the point is that Harry and Hermione are better the way they are because thier relationship is stronger this way. Also, this way we are allowed to take imaginative liberties with the way we interpret their relationship as opposed to having it (badly) spelled out for us though JKR. I could be wrong. I just know that this his how I've been thinking all along, so this is just how I understood the article.

TheFey21 Agree but not with Severus/Lily bit, even after knowing his backstory. I love James/Lily, I don't get why people suddenly hate him, he might be an immature teenager but he changed for love too (not as dramatically as Snape, he had to see Lily's impending doom before coming into his senses).

detty4ever Great article!! I completely agree with everything except from the sexual attraction part between Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione! Cause I dunno how they're been described in the books but in the movies I see no attraction whatsoever!

randompanda To "OnlyHarmioneHJP" I know what he/she meant, because u just wrote exactly what he/she said. And i'm still saying it would've been better if it was canon. I was saying if it was canon she wouldn't mess it up but since u can't seem to believe that, i'll take it as messed up canon over correct but completely ignored fanon anyday.

OnlyHarmioneHJP randompanda - Look, I was only trying to break things down because you seemed to misunderstand the point. If you didn't, then fine. And as far as my explanation goes, I didn't write exactly what he/she wrote - I explained it in my own words. And in regards to Harmony being canon, no offense, but don't pretend to know what I believe. I wish more than anything that Harmony was canon, and in my mind they are, but based on the couplings that JKR actually created, it is more than apparent that there would have been a good chance for her to mess up Harmony if she put them together. This is exactly why they work as is.

loveofdelena Wow! Now that you put it like this...your right, perhaps it's a good think that JK didn't go with them, since she is terrible when it comes to writing romance. I'd rather harmonys relationship be the meaningful and honest of the three.
