Hi everyone, although I don't celebrate 할로윈 as I live in Malaysia. But I had some horror 영화 that I would share that are considered my least and most favourite 영화 to share with 당신 all, ready to get scared?
My Least Favourite Horror Movies
The Haunting (1999)
I only watched bits of it a few years ago, and at that time I did not know that it was actually a reboot of the original 1963 version. I managed to watch the latter on Youtube, and I will talk about it later.
Unfortunately, this movie is NOT worth watching because the movie received poor ratings from both the critics and 팬 alike. The story was actually not faithful towards the original novel on which this reboot is based on.
In other words, please skip this movie if 당신 guys are looking 앞으로 to Halloween.
The Shining
This movie had always creep me out, especially the poster in which Jack Nicholson's character is a mad man. It gives me nightmare that I do not even want to watch this film at all!
But on the other hand, I really admire Stephen King's originality of 글쓰기 a horror novel. I truly appreciate it, good job Stephen!
Big Bad Wolf
Okay, last night I watched the trailer and I was not at all impressed 의해 it for the same reason as the 1999 remake of the Haunting.
Secondly, I was not use to seeing Kimberly J Brown's portrayal as a bad girl type. While watching the trailer, she eerily reminded me of Kristen Bell's portrayal of Elle Bishop in the TV series, Heroes.
The story was very weak 사무용 겉옷, 전반적인 and I strongly suggest 당신 guys to watch another werewolf movie.
An American Haunting
10 years ago, I heard from a couple of my school 프렌즈 who both said to skip this movie due to poor 글쓰기 script 또는 something like that. However, it was due to negative ratings later on. So, I would not be surprise at all!
Return to Halloweentown
I was very disappointed that Kimberly J Brown was not ask to reprise her role Marnie Piper, despite that she was available at that time. She even said that in an interview, even her 팬 were to disappointed about this!
The Posession
When I first watched this on Youtube, I thought it was like the Jewish version of the Exorcist! This movie creeps me out that I do not even want to watch it ever again.
Stigmata
I watched this movie back in 2001, and I was petrified about this movie that I became very frightened about to going to a Catholic church mainly because of this movie!
My Most Favourite Horror Movies
The Haunting (1963)
As promised, I 사랑 the 1963 version of the Haunting and it is even better than the 1999 version. There were no CGI's considering that this movie was made in the 60's, it uses psychological moments in it and it is also faithful towards the original novel, unlike the 1999 version.
Halloweentown Trilogy
I prefer the trilogy rather than counting the 4th one to it, well maybe because I am so use to seeing Kimberly J Brown's 연기 more. One thing that I really like about her is that she has the quality in Marnie that I really like and she has charisma! I hope that she continues to do 더 많이 연기 in the future.
Stephen King's Rose Red
Okay, I managed to watch this on 유튜브 last week. I was impressed and my reason for this is the same as the original 1963 version of the Haunting.
The cast were amazing and I feel bad for Joyce in the end because she felt remorseful, but I am glad that she found peace at last.
Dracula
This movie got me interested in vampires, I found out that Dracula was inspired 의해 a Romanian serial killer name Vlad the Impaler, who impaled his victims and drinks their blood!
The Nightmare Before Christmas
This was the movie that I grew up with, and the songs are very memorable. My favourite characters are Jack, Sally and Zero the dog. It's one of my most watch 영화 for Halloween!
The Sixth Sense
I absolutely adore Haley Joel Osment in this movie, so is his sister Emily Osment. I really like the story-line as it bugs me out!
This is Halloween!
So, are 당신 all ready for Halloween? Go ahead and check out these movies, especially my most favourites, if 당신 guys have 더 많이 suggestions, go ahead and 코멘트 it. I will be watching Pride and Prejudice and Zombies soon and Happy 할로윈 everyone!
