I've been thinking about the weird storylines we're getting in season 5. George constantly MIA (I wonder if anyone will notice he's gone...), Derek Shepherd is suddenly depressed because of a patient he lost, McSteamy and Little Grey are getting it on, Cristina and Owen could be happy together but noooo, and Callie keep on ranting about Arizona. Seriously?! .
Then there's one 더 많이 storyline, the most absurd of them all.. yes, 당신 guessed it right, Izzie Stevens! Not only does she first sleep with a ghost, but then she isn't able to diagnose herself, so she asks the interns (who haven't been learning much...) and they miraculously figure it out! Of course that's when the magnificent McDreamy comes back to save the day! And we see Izzie, who has BRAIN SURGERY with just a tiny bandage around her head, yet her hair is STILL THERE ! I'd really like an explanation of how its possible to have your hair tied back while having a bandage in the middle of your head. Go ahead Shonda, enlighten me.
Basically, I feel like the magic of Grey's Anatomy is starting to fade. Season 1 was amazing. Grey's Anatomy was a medical drama, yet it had humor and relationships. Then with time, we entered the era of 'Dark n Twisty' and now we're in a #12 hospital where the Chief Resident seems to overpower the actual Chief. Goodness gracious, how do the writers come up with this stuff?
I've considered not watching Grey's Anatomy anymore, but I don't have the gut to do it. For me, Grey's has the season finale to try to dazzle me, and if it doesn't I honestly don't know if I'll be watching the show any longer.
