In 2004, my thirteen 년 old self watched MTV, when a song came on. The video was mostly green, and I noticed three guys standing there. The song then started, and right after the first riff I knew that I loved this song. I immediately googled the band, only to discover that they had been around for quite some time. I started hearing 더 많이 about them as their popularity grew, and I got into their old stuff as well, resulting in a purchase of various albums. From that moment on I knew that I wanted to see this band live. When I watched Bullet in a Bible and saw what a spectacular show they put on I told myself that I have to experience that one day. Well, now, six years later, my dream finally came true.

Green 일 came to Prague just two days ago, on June 29th. Waiting around in unbearable heat and direct sunlight for 더 많이 than six hours definitely paid off, as I ended up very close to stage. I had direct view of Billie Joe, Mike, and Tre. When they first came up on stage I couldn't believe that I was actually standing there, watching them live, listening to their perfect music. I swear to God, it felt like a dream. Even though I was tired after all the waiting and the heat was killing me, their appearance gave me a new boost of energy and I knew I would be rocking out to their songs for the rest of the evening.

They played for THREE hours straight! The quality of the 음악회, 콘서트 remained very, very high for the whole time. Billie Joe has an amazing voice, and even with him running around, jumping and doing all sorts of crazy stuff, he never seemed out of breath. From where I was standing I was directly 의해 Mike, and I must admit he did look in my direction a lot, and at one point I shouted, "I 사랑 YOU!", and I swear to God, he looked at me, winked, and said thank you.

Speaking of gratitude, 당신 could see that Green 일 do truly care about their 팬 and realize that we give them full support! This may sound super cheesy, corny, lame, but 당신 could feel the 사랑 from both sides. Billie Joe even proclaimed that his was his 가장 좋아하는 음악회, 콘서트 :) The people that were pulled on stage are in my opinion the luckiest people ever. Green 일 even pulled on three people who got the play the drums, 베이스 and guitar. The girl playing the 기타 got to KEEP IT! Lucky her!

Green Day, thank 당신 so much for a spectacular show. I feel so grateful for the fact that my dream came true, and that I could finally see my 가장 좋아하는 band live, performing their new songs as wells as older, well known hits. Not to mention the fact that they sound BETTER live than on the record. 당신 can't say that about many musicians, unfortunately. I will never forget this concert, because I did truly have the time of my life.
