I saw Artie and approached him. "Hey."

No response.

"Hey", I repeat.

Still nothing. He turned the corner and went into the auditorium.

"Great conversation! See 당신 later", I called after him. Though he probably didn't hear me.

-at Lunch-
I sat my usual table, with Artie, Finn, and Rachel, but the only who was there was Finn. "Hey Finn."

"Hey."

"Where's Artie and Berry?"

"You mean Rachel."

"Yeah."

"They're rehearsing for West Side Story."

"Oh." I started thinking of something else to talk about. "So, election 일 is coming. Who are 당신 voting for?"

"I'll tell 당신 what I told Rachel. I don't...

-The 다음 Day-
I saw Brittany talking to someone. A guy I haven't seen around school. He was wearing a green sweatshirt. As Brittany walked away, after giving him a 키스 on the cheek, I saw a jock push him up against the lockers. I walked over to him. "You okay?"

He fixed his 스웨트 셔츠, 셔츠 and nodded.

"Are 당신 new here?"

He nodded again. "I'm Rory", he said in a heavy Irish accent.

"I'm Sol." We shook hands. "You're a foreign exchange student. Ireland?"

"Yes."

"So, Brittany's your girlfriend?"

He shakes his head. "I live with her, though I want her to be my girlfriend."

"Wait, if she isn't your girlfriend,...
