The first ever 2009 Melon 음악 Awards kicked off tonight and with it being its first event ever, it was decent, but left us with much to be desired.

With that said, SNSD swept the night with 6 awards, including the biggest award of the night, the "2009 SONG" of the year.

SNSD’s 'Gee' is the MV of the 년

That's right, SNSD's Gee, which has been seen 의해 millions of people, has been declared as the 음악 video of the 년 의해 GOM TV's GOM 음악 Chart (GMC)!

Nine of the ten spots in the 상단, 맨 위로 10 were taken 의해 idol groups, mainly 2NE1, Brown Eyed Girls, and 2PM. From the 상단, 맨 위로 10, eight of the spots were taken 의해 girl groups, proving that the 년 of 2009 was indeed the 년 of girl groups.

SNSD's Gee had over 100 million view counts on GOM TV and maintained their first place status over a period of 10 weeks on GOM's MV charts. SNSD's Tell Me Your Wish also ranked 9th in the 상단, 맨 위로 10, which further proved...
