The acting was good and the writing was okay, but I can never fully enjoy an episode focusing on love triangle drama. At this point, I fear it will never end. Yearbook, Semi Formal, Creativity, Texas and now New Years and all the ship teasing moments in between. It's ridiculous and I've stopped caring who ends up with who, despite my preferences. Won't somebody please ask poor Lucas how he feels and have one ship finally "win" so we can move on?

Great episodes, but I'm hoping in season 3 they'll just stop that stupid love... square, now a love-triangle. I hate those kind of storylines. I mean, despite what Lucaya fans want to happen, it's obvious that Riley and Lucus are going to end up together. I mean, what's even the point of love-triangles when you know what's going to happen. I never bought Lucas and Maya as a couple because they acted more like a brother and sister than anything else. Plus, Lucas is just pretty much forced into this because Riley says that him and her are like brother and sister because they can't act like other couples do and is just told that he needs to be with Maya. Farkle did what I wanted to do during this whole bullcrap storyline, say that Riley still has OBVIOUS feelings for Lucas and it's really obvious that Lucas still has feelings for her that even Maya can see but the three of them won't admit it. I mean, putting Maya and Lucas together is like putting Topanga and Shawn together, it's just not right. I didn't care about this storyline, except that I wanted it to be OVER with. I've seen enough of these love-triangle storylines that I know what will happen and who will get the girl/guy because of how OBVIOUS it is. The only time I was shocked with the love-triangle storyline was in Once Upon A Time with the Swanfire vs Captain Swan, but that was mainly because of how poorly written Emma and Hook are as a couple. They shared very few moments in season 2, which mainly focus on developing Emma and Neal's relationship, and it was just out of nowhere how Hook was just in love with her. I thought she'd end up with Neal because of their chemistry and how well-done they were, but she ended up with Hook and I still don't find their development or chemistry convincing. But I digress. Aside from that one time, no matter how much either group wants their ship to happen, you know which ship will actually happen and be official. So why waste our time with it?
