You see when the original series was still airing a lot of people thought that Hughes would be brought back as a homunculus by Roy and that he would become Pride because Pride had yet to be introduced. The sin fits him well as he held such Pride for Elicia.
I personally think that if they had brought back Hughes that it would have made things a lot more interesting plus we would have gotten more Hughes screen time and damn he's awesome!
I wonder how he would treat his family and Roy and what his outfit would have looked like. I think it would have been totally kick ass :)
