(Yup...im putting myself in this story X3)
Another 일 has passed in the Central Park Zoo and the last school group is leaving yet again. Every kid from the highschool has been accounted for....well...almost all of them. Rebecca, ever since middle school has been staying behind to help her cousin Alice feed the animals. 또는 so she says. She really only hangs around the 펭귄 habitat. "You guys were so cute today!" She complimented, scrunching inside the HQ. Skipper pushed aside a lock of her long, brown hair and smiled. "Thank you. we work hard to make the kids smile." Rebecca then giggled as she saw the penguins crawl on her shoulders and sit. "Wow guys. Im never gonna be too old to visit you." Rebecca smiled and patted Private on his head. Private giggled and noticed that his young friend was really cramped in the penguin-sized HQ, so he opened the front door and she fell out on her back, crushing both Kowalski and Rico under her XD. "Oh gosh! Im sorry!" Rebecca cried, sitting up immediately. Skipper, rushed outside and held Rebecca's mouth shut. "SSSSH! Alice!" He warned, pointing twoards her cousin's office. Rebecca rolled her eyes and pulled the paranoid penguin's flippers off her mouth. "Dude, it's cool. Alice won't figure anything out." She said reassuringly. Kowalski and Rico sat up behind Rebecca dizzily, both holding their heads and making sure they were alive. "You alright boys?" Asked Rebecca with a trembling voice. Kowalski nodded and Rico blinked rapidly to show he was unharmed. The large girl smiled patted their heads. Suddenly, like clockwork, Alice called Rebecca's name from her office with a bossy tone. "Well...that's my que to go. I'll see 당신 all tomorrow night." Rebecca then hugged her feathered 프렌즈 and dashed twoards Alice's office.

ALICE'S OFFICE
Rebecca timidly opened the door to her cousin's office and took a 좌석 in the easy chair infront of the desk. Alice put down the transcripts she was 읽기 and smiled. " So twerp, how was feeding time tonight?" She mocked, flipping Rebecca's curly hair from in front of her face. "It was fine Alice. Burt got all of his peanuts, the Chimps their bananas, and the 수달, 오 터 her oysters.." Alice looked at Rebecca oddly. "And the penguins? What about the penguins?" "I gave them four 물고기 each." Rebecca replied with a smile. Alice looked out the window twoards the 펭귄 habitat and glared. "Rebecca, you've been my cousin for what? Fourteen years?" Alice asked, turning back twoards the teen. " Uh...im fourteen years old..." Replied Rebecca akwardly. "And 당신 know how I feel about those penguins?" Alice leaned in twoards her 책상, 데스크 and clasped her hands together. "Y-yeah...." The teen just looked up at her oldest cousin and tried not to show fear. Not fear for her, but for the protection of her friends. "If there was any funny business going on with those penguins, you'd tell me right?" Alice stared into Rebecca's eyes, but from the other end, it was as if she was staring into her soul. "Ofcourse I would, but unfortunately there is nothing to tell. All that 당신 have in this zoo is four adoreable penguins. Nothing more." Alice saw the disarming look in the teens eyes and 로스트 all traces of doubt in her. "Aw alright. I'd better get 당신 home. Sorry for grilling 당신 like this Becc." She apologized. Rebecca stood up from her chair and smiled down at Alice, whom she towered like the empire state building XD (yup...im tall) "Let's go." She then took out her phone and began to text her mother that she was on her way home.
As Alice and Rebecca walked to their car, A tall dark man in an 주황색, 오렌지 uniform followed them in the shadows, Rebecca tried to ignore it but the ominous feeling was too much to bear. Instead of simply running from the figure, she told Alice, who promptly went into the shadows of the parking lot and dragged the figure out! It was....Officer X? "I thought 당신 were in jail for breaking into an amusment park in Florida!?" (another story of mine) Alice exclaimed, astounded to see X in front of her. Rebecca was the first to notice the 주황색, 오렌지 jumpsuit X was wearing. He wasn't released for good behavoir, he ESCAPED. Rebecca took out her cellphone "Should I call the cops?" She asked, worried about how dangerous this man was. Afterall, she had no idea who he was. Officer X then reached out and grabbed Rebecca's wrist, causing her to drop her cellphone to the floor. "HEY! YOUR GONNA PAY FOR THAT!" She yelled angrily, giving X a firey look. "Sorry li'l lady. I mean 당신 no harm. All I want is.......the penguins." Officer X looked at Alice with hatred in his eyes. "Wait...YOU hate the penguins too?" She asked, opening her car door. "Well...mabey you, me, and my cousin here can arrange alittle something." Rebecca was too scared to even walk twoards the door, so X picked her up like a poster board and placed her in the front 좌석 of Alice's beat-up car. Then he got into the back and chuckled evily as the car backed up and exited the parking lot into the city. Rebecca sat through the ride speechless. Things were going to get bad, and the worst part is, SHE was caught in the middle.
