I've been on 팬팝 for exactly a 년 now!
And in my time on this site, I've seen 사랑 and hate, I've seen new ideas and old traditions, I've seen agreements and nasty debates, I've seen just about everything. But back in the day, In 2007, 팬팝 used to be about nothing but fun, love, and sharing interests. The past few months, most of what I have seen is hate, criticism, hypocrisy, competition, and bullying. We have seen 팬 write very mean things about other 팬 (not naming names), we have seen 팬 gaining up against other fans, we have seen cheaters, and we have seen several beloved...

Hey, everyone. I'm sure most of 당신 have heard of 또는 are familar with role playing, right? I'm not talking about RPG games, but the actual act of role playing. Where 당신 get into a character from a series, game, movie, etc, 또는 create your own character and post with one person 또는 a group with your own storyline and setting. The genres are vast, everything from 아니메 to wolves. It's a 인기 activity that many (as far as I can tell) enjoy, and it's found on many sites. A lot have 포럼 dedicated to it as well. 팬팝 is becoming increasingly popular, so I wonder why role playing hasn't been...

Yes, people of fanpop, today (April 4th, 2008) is the 1 년 anniversary of me joining fanpop. To celebrate this I have made a timeline about my first 년 on fanpop, which will show how it changed my life.

(Some of these are dated, some are not, and this is because some of the dates I don't remember.)

January 26th 2007: While looking for great Office stuff on Google, I discover a little site called fanpop.

April 3rd, 2007: I wanted to sign up for fanpop, but my parents wouldn't allow me to because they didn't like me giving out my e-mail address, so I decided that I was going to use a hotmail...

Okay, so I am sitting here with my broken toe, trying to finish off a book, and I think, "God. 팬팝 is just insanely awesome." I mean, big surprise, why would I be a part of something I don't like? But I am honestly so bored that I am going to make a list of ten reasons why I 사랑 this place (in no order of importance).

1. The picks. The picks, the picks, the picks! As some people may know, I am an avid pick maker/answerer, and I just 사랑 them! Whoever thought up that gem of an idea, nice. Just awesome....
