OMG look at this!

Ratings. They sound good in theory. What better way to know how good content is? Unfortunately, the reality is far, far different:

Trolls - We've all seen them. They rate things a one, just because they can.

Non-Raters - There is a LOT of awesome content on 팬팝 that goes unrated.

Friends and Enemies - 프렌즈 get high ratings. Enemies get low ratings. It happens.

Rating Unfairly - People dish out 1-star ratings to 이미지 and 비디오 containing characters/pairings they don't support.

Rating the Uploading Process - Content gets rated based on HOW it was uploaded instead of the quality of the actual...

As with any web site, 팬팝 is only as good as its content. Some content - what I think of as the soul of the site - is generated 의해 users in the fora and in 코멘트 on the rest of the content and cannot be rated. But the rest of the content - the body of the site - has a ratings system.
