Duplicate 이미지 tend to really bother me in certain spots, and I’ve observed that I’m far from the only one. I know it’s difficult sometimes to know if an image has been uploaded into a spot 또는 not when there are 999,483,937 uploads, especially when they’re lacking in the 키워드 department.
구글 has this nice new feature called a Reverse Image Search. With a reverse image search, 당신 are able to 업로드 또는 link an image into the 검색 bar and you’ll be given a list of web pages containing your selected image.
(I’m about to walk 당신 through the steps. I’ll be using a picture from link)
* First, visit link. (tinyeye.com is also another reverse image 검색 engine, but it doesn’t have 팬팝 in its database, so don’t bother.)
* Click on the camera 아이콘 located at the end of the 검색 bar.
---A box will pop up. If 당신 have the image saved to your computer, click on the “upload an image” link, and… 업로드 the image. If it’s easier to get the image URL, get the 주소 and paste it in the textbox.
*Click 검색 and you’ll be taken to a list of results, as 구글 usually does. In some cases, such as this one, 구글 will add a word to describe your image.
---In most cases, if the image is already uploaded onto Fanpop, it will be displayed as one of the 상단, 맨 위로 results
*If 팬팝 doesn’t come up as one of the results,
try erasing Google’s guess and type in “Fanpop”, then click 검색 again.
*By this point, 당신 should have your answer.
The 상단, 맨 위로 result will ALWAYS be:
“Fanpop - 팬 clubs for everything. What are 당신 a 팬 of?
www.fanpop.com/
Fanpop is a network of 팬 clubs for 팬 of television, movies, 음악 and 더 많이 to discuss and share photos, videos, news and opinions with fellow fans. 42 images...”
So ignore that.
What 당신 need to look for is the results that follow. If 당신 don't get any 팬팝 results, then you’re 안전한, 안전 to 업로드 the image without committing the crime of duplication.
If 당신 DO get a 팬팝 result, make sure 당신 follow the link and actually check which spot it was uploaded to. (You wouldn’t want to miss out on your opportunity just because someone uploaded the same image to the 랜덤 spot 2.5 years 이전 또는 because it’s the thumbnail of some video)
If 당신 get 더 많이 than one 팬팝 result, then that most likely means that the image has been uploaded to 더 많이 than one spot, as demonstrated below.
또는 that the image appears on 더 많이 than one 주소 in one single spot, which is completely normal (the spot’s homepage, image page, 바탕화면 page, the page for the image itself, the related 이미지 thumbnail, a pick icon, etc.)
또는 that a duplicate was added at some point 또는 another.
Here’s to hopes for less duplicate images.

Yesterday, I was fanpoping. I come across the link spot- And went to videos. link is what I saw. There were 사과, 애플 pie 비디오 there. 제출됨 의해 Hulu.
link are some 이미지 의해 other fanpopers reporting this.
Hulu's 비디오 should NOT be done 의해 a webcrawler. (or whatever 당신 call it) Dave, either have a manual team do hulu's videos, 또는 dont do it at all.
EDIT: as amazondebs says in the comments, 팬팝 isen't even getting paid for hulu's videos. What is the purpose of having them here?

Let me tell 당신 how I first discovered fanpop. (Just bored so thought I'd write this)
I was on the net looking for pictures. I then came across a site (Which is this one really) and clicked the link.
I never knew what this site was 또는 what and thought it was one of those many sites like twitter and Facebook.
Browsing some 더 많이 I accidentally landed on someone's 프로필 page and scrolling down say there were pic's looking like cubes. On 상단, 맨 위로 there were titled 'Clubs'.
I noticed a familiar 아이콘 of my favourite actor and clicked on it.
It was cool, it was like a website just full of that actors info.
I noticed they had 퀴즈 and took part.
Than I released that 당신 had to sign up to record what 당신 got right/wrong etc.
Thats when I decided to log on and realised I was SOOO ADDICTED TO IT!
(Hey I don't even spend so0 much time like this on Facebook!)
So that was how I discovered Fanpop-not to dramatic 또는 interesting, but i found my rabbit hole.
