I try to add a lot of quality content to this site, and I would like to think I succeed. However, there is no way to know for sure without your help. A 질문 that constantly plagues my mind is, "What do 당신 think?"
There are a couple of different ways to let people know what 당신 think about their content. One is rating, which is definitely the most concise way to show your feelings. However, sometimes just rating isn't enough to get your point across especially if the rating is unusually low.
In the past week 또는 two I have had a number of extremely low ratings on a lot of my contributions. I could completely accept these ratings if I had an explanation of why the rating was so low. However, when I add what I think is high quality content and get low rating is leaves me with a 사워, 사 우 어 taste in my mouth.
So, now what is the answer to this problem? The answer I have found that seems to work the best is commenting. This is a wonderful way to let people know why 당신 rated their content the way 당신 did. For example, if 당신 are rating it low because it is a duplicate picture 또는 video, leave a 코멘트 with the link to the 이전 posting. If 당신 are rating it low because the quality is substandard, then leave a 코멘트 saying what exactly 당신 thought was inadequate. Personally, I do not find it offensive when people leave 코멘트 to this affect. I take it as constructive criticism, and I may be speaking out of turn, but I think most people would say the same thing as long as the 코멘트 has tact. For example instead of saying, “I already 게시됨 this link, idiot!” 당신 could say something like, “I already 게시됨 this link (insert URL). Great minds think alike, so remember to check to make sure to check before 당신 add content to make sure it is not a duplicate.”
Now, I am not saying that it is always necessary to leave 코멘트 on everything 당신 view, but I do think it is appropriate especially if 당신 rate something a 1 (which is defined as “garbage” 의해 the rating system). If there is something terribly wrong with content then it is not only helpful to the contributor to know what is wrong with it, but it is also helpful to other users who are viewing material. For example if 당신 rated a movie low because only half of it is there, then if 당신 leave a 코멘트 other people won’t watch it just to find out that it is not complete.
A 코멘트 is also a wonderful way to let someone know 당신 appreciated their contribution. If 당신 like it let someone know 의해 leaving them a 코멘트 telling them that 당신 liked it. It always brightens my 일 when I see a 코멘트 saying that someone appreciated my work. It is not necessary, but it is a nice thing to do occasionally to make someone smile, since they made 당신 smile with their content :)
I really hope that this explains why 코멘트 are so important. Thank 당신 so much for reading! 당신 guys rock, let’s continue to make 팬팝 a great place!
