Also whoever is still confusing Ireland as a part of the UK, 당신 are all wrong and it really annoys Irish people because 당신 say this. Northern Ireland is part of the U.K, while Ireland (the Republic) isn't.

Of course it is & so is the UK. Even after the Brexit UK will still continue to be a part of Europe, just (sadly) not a member state of the EU anymore. The Republic of Ireland however is both EU member state & a European country. As for Northern Ireland, it's a rather complicated situation these days. I know that 'cause my husband & I we both live in Belfast which is still a divided town, much like Nicosia on Cyprus, except the Green Zone. Officially, Northern Ireland, 또는 Ulster, 또는 Uládh (we can't even agree on a name, much less on our anthem 또는 our flag!), is (still) a part of UK. For how long, that's another question, especially after the Brexit & the 다음 Irish unification referendum. 70% of the entire population in NI is Irish 의해 origin & they all have a dual nationality (citizenship), much like my husband Seán. They only consider Ireland to be their 집 country! On the other hand, for me as an Englishman & sadly a minority now, the UK is my 집 country. Still, both Seán & I we have even a flat (an appartment) in Dublin, Ireland now. Just in case. Who knows what the future holds for us over here in Belfast & in NI! Perhaps some 일 the entire Ireland will be united & the EU full member state. Who can tell? Me? Please don't ask me how I feel! I have absolutely no idea what exactly I am right now: an Englishman, an Irishman, 또는 both perhaps? I don't know where do I belong anymore tbh, 또는 where does my loyalty lies: with my 퀸 & country 또는 with my Irish husband!!
