School, was over, and Courtney waited for her mother to come and pick her up. She swayed back and forward, watching the students leave in their own cars. Some had cars so expensive, they make Oprah gasp.

Courtney sighed deeply. I wish I had a car. She said to herself, but only Courtney knew why she was enable to have a car. If only Dementia gave advantages to the terrifying outcome, than maybe Courtney actually feel somewhat...normal. But Courtney was not normal, no, she was beyond the fact of the matter, and Courtney hated it.

Waiting amorphously, Courtney sat down on the sidewalk, took out her PDA, and began to tinker with it. She scrolled through levels of 사진 she had recently downloaded, and was stopped 의해 a specific picture. It was her farther.

Although, Courtney continuously would lose memory of her pass, and her mother would lie 또는 say his is out 또는 at work, Courtney would always get a tiny bit gloomy every time she remembered.

That one night.

Courtney's eyes began to water as she remembered that night. She was only 3 years old when it happened, and it seemed like it just happened yesterday. Courtney hate to admit, that it was her, that had killed her farther. She was so messed up, that she couldn't control the handle of the gun.

Courtney threw her PDA down, and quickly wiped away the tears. She would not cry on her first 일 of school.

She watched the other students drive away in there fancy cars. Courtney envied them so, but tried hard not to show it. Oh how she wish she had the right to drive, but only Courtney knew why that theory was impossible.

While waiting anxiously on the curb, Courtney couldn't help but rethink the events today. She 로스트 her mind in front of the school's neanderthal, and practically abolished an egotistical jerk's balls.

Why is it she couldn't forget her most lowest moments?

Because life's a bitch, that's why.

"Need a ride home?" A voice asked, startling the reminiscing girl.

Courtney whipped around, and sinking with disapproval upon the delinquents presence. She groaned, turning back around. "Not from you. Thanks, but not thanks." She said coldly.

Duncan furrowed his brow, taking a 좌석 다음 to Courtney, making her groan once more. "Hey, I'm trying to be nice. Better take advantage of it now while it last." He warned.

Courtney scoffed. "Whatever, I need nothing from you. Okay?! As 당신 can tell, I'm not in the best mood, so if 당신 could be nice enough as to just go away." She said, sharply.

Duncan shrugged, and got up, and started to 송어 away. But before doing so, he turned around and ask, "What was up with your little episode earlier? I mean, talk about a bad first impression."

She got nervous, and tried to think of a lie. Her head was going in circles 의해 now. "Nothing.." Was all she could say. "Just nothing. Don't worry about me. I'm fine." The two most ridiculous excuses for s lie.

About that time, Clarisse had finally arrived. Courtney, almost bolting up, and entered her mother's car, and quickly living the awkward scene. Duncan was slowly walking away, but watching the strange girl as well.

He didn't know what, but there was something odd about her. Duncan wasn't one to be nor care for anyone's business, but he had uncontrollable urge. Despite, Courtney being s buzz kill, Duncan couldn't help for a 스플릿, 분할 second, picturing himself with Courtney.

He mentally kicked himself for doing so, and than continued on his way home.

"So how was your first 일 of school, honey?" Ask Clarisse, setting cooking dinner, as Courtney sat at the table.

Courtney was quiet. She forgot mostly on what happened, and was glad about it. She didn't want to remember her first 일 in a school as this day. So, instead of telling her what happened, she substituted it. "Can't remember exactly, but I'm sure it was hectic, like any other regular school."

Clarisse nodded, before turning back to her cooking. "Well, we're having gumbo, tonight. Your favorite."

Courtney sighed, standing up, and walking towards the stairs. "I'm not hungry." She answered.

"What? But it's your favorite, dear."

Courtney sighed, and softly spoke. "Thank 당신 mother for your consideration, but I rather just go to bed." And with that said, she went on her to bed. Quickly changing her PJs, Courtney trouble sleeping. Her mind was filled with so much, making it to much to handle.

She managed to sleep a good couple of hours, but 의해 morning, her was throbbing like hell. If having dementia wasn't bad enough.

The thing with Courtney's mental disorder was that it, her symptoms weren't as bad as the serious ones. Her doctor told her it would get better soon with some 집 schooling, and therapy. But her memory loss would be become prevalent 더 많이 and 더 많이 everyday. In some cases, her brain would someday give out, either shutting down 또는 giving her internal memory loss.

It scared Courtney, that her disorder wasn't progressing. All she wanted to do is be normal. She wanted a normal school girl life. Graduate with her class, go to college, and maybe even find love.

Love?

Courtney's 심장 sank. She imagined her 사랑 life. What if her case didn't get better?

How could anyone 사랑 someone disorderly functioned as her?
