It was so weird to be laughing with people my age!!! Actually it was jus too weird too laugh!! I was starting to like the parties!!! Gwen was too nice with me... She had already introduced me to some of her friends: a big guy with a sweet expression named DJ, a pretty redhead girl named Izzy, a green-eyed boy and black hair named Trent, a beautiful and friendly blonde girl named Lindsey that had no idea of what sense common was and a guy named Tyler that said he loved sports...
They were too funny to be with, and Geoff made me feel like if i wasnt a stranger in his party.

We were still laughing, when a tough voice broke the silence.
-What the hell is happening here!!

Everybody turned around to see Duncan.
-Your nice friend Courtney is telling a story!! Isnt she awesome!!
-Ive already notice that!! -Duncan said angrily.
-So why ar 당신 asking? -Gwen sai.

I looked how Duncan´s eyes wnet wide when he listened to Gwen´s voice before he said:
-Thta´s not your business!!

Gwen satarted saying siomething annoying but i could hear it because, without saying anything else, Duncan graabbed my arm and took me outta the house.
-Hey dude!! -Geoff shouted.
-What´s your problem??-Someone else said...

...But i couldnt hear it because their words got 로스트 in the sound of Rihanna´s "Love the way 당신 lie".
We were outside now. His hand was still in my arm, and i started to feel pain on it.

-What´s your problem??!1 -I asked, puzzled.

I thought that he was having a great time in the party and he wasnt even near me!!! He looked away and then into my euyes again.

-You aremy problem!! -He said-. Why do 당신 have to be so annoying!!! Im tired of your voice of your glares of everything!! 당신 make me sick eveytime 당신 speak!! Why do 당신 have to be my shadow wherever i go!!
-Get your hand off of me. -I said quietly.

He did it and stepped back. Suddenly i felt so angry but at the same time so sad. I wanted to cry while kicking him where it hurts.

I heard my phone rang, but when i took it out of the 지갑 it was too late to answer. I saw that i had 4 miss calls!! And all of them were from the police department. I was so dead.

-Get inside the car -I told my punk enemy.
-Why should i ??! -He said too loud.

I was tired of his voice and complains.
-Because if 당신 cant do it 의해 yourself a frien of mine will come to help 당신 -I said while showing him my gun.

He sighed and got into the car quietly.
I called my uncle and after he said everything bad he could tell me he said that near Bridgette´s house another rich man called Scott had been kidnapped and there had been shots in the neighborhood.

We drove to Bridgette´s neighborhood in complete silence.We got utta the car as soon as we get there.

-Where the hell were you?? -My uncle screamed when he saw me.
-I was keeping an eye on him just as 당신 told me to -I said looking at Duncan.
-I told 당신 to be his shadow not to 날짜 him!!!
-We wasnt in a date!!! I would never like him!! Its just that our punk wannabe is like Miss Sympathy...
-Anyway, it doesn´t matter. I just want 당신 to be focus on our victim and our missing man. Ok?
-Fine... Where´s Bridgette?
-She´s over there, talking with the cabs... She is our witness now.


A few hours after that,Duncan and i arrived to the police station. It was so annoying to have everybody looking at 당신 in anger just because 당신 are dressed in a dress, 당신 have a gun in your 지갑 and your company is a punk.

We heard to Bridgette´s words.
-There were at least three. All of them dressing in black. Two men went out of the car -which was black too-. and entered to Mr Scott´s house. After they entered i heard the shots i think they shot someone there but im not sure who. Then they came out with Mr Scott and got onto the car, but one of them turned around and looked at my house, and shot in my direction.

My uncle made a few 질문 about the car and the doors in Mr Scott´s house.
I walked to my house with Duncan behind me. My job was to try to find a conection between Bridgette´s father and our missing Mr Scott. I loked for anything. Banks, business, ex wives, cars... But the only thing they seemed to have in common was the adress.

-Walk -I said to Duncan.-. Lets go to Velis´.
-Who the hell is Velis??
-Nobody, jerk.

All the way to the lab was full of silence. I was wondering why Duncan shouted to me again, but in a party, if he wasnt drunk 또는 even near me when we arrived to the lab.

-Hi Courtney -she said happily.
-Velis.

Velis was exactly the kinf of person i would like to become someday... Beautiful, independent and successful.

-Oh -she said looking at Duncan when he entered to her territory-.It seems that 당신 have company. Who is he?
-Nobody really important Velis. What did 당신 discover?
-Well... Como here, Courtney and tell me what do 당신 see in our victims arms.
-Amm... They have purple marks??
-Yes, so?
-So our victim tried to defend himself?
-Yes. He fought. They´re not postmortem. But the winner is here.

I loked the victim´s head. It had an irregular mark with the shape of a circle.
-Is that what the murder weapon did?
-Yes. But this is one of the weirdest marks ive ever seen. Can 당신 see that it is 원, 동그라미 right? Well it is deeper in its center.
-What??!!
-What 당신 herad darling. These mark is deeper in the centre. And i dont know which object can leave a mark with this shape.
-There are not too many objects like that, which is good for me.
-Another thing... The weapon was silver.
-Silver??
-Yeah, a fragment of it was in our victim´s hair.

Velis showed me a little but tough piece of silver. Which kind of assassin were we dealing with?

-And i found a substance in his body that is not supposed to be there.
-Velis, just go to the point.
-I found cyanide.
-Cyanide!! -.Duncan shouted-. Are 당신 kidding!!

Veis looked at my punk enemy and rolled her blue eyes.
-Ignore him -i suggested-. Where were you?
-I was saying that i found cyanide, but not in a big amount... It was not what killed him. Someone had been giving cyanide sauce to our victim with every dinner.
-Fine. T´hat´s all Velis?
-That´s all darling. Good luck with your assassin.

Duncan and i went out of the lab.
-What the hell was that?
-That was an autopsy.
-Uh. But who the hell would do all those things just to kill someone?? A gun 또는 칼, 나이프 is enough.
-That´s what im gonna find out.
