In 1939, 배트맨 first appeared. During that year, 배트맨 was on his own. The 다음 year, 배트맨 was given a sidekick, Robin, the boy wonder. Robin quickly became a prominent character in the 배트맨 franchise. Robin didn't appear in either of the 배트맨 films directed 의해 Tim Burton. There were plans to have Robin in the 1st film, but he ended up being cut out. History repeated itself with the 2nd film. Robin doesn't appear in 배트맨 V 슈퍼맨 또는 Justice League, because he was murdered 의해 the Joker, offscreen.
