*SPOILERS*

On Tumblr they are saying who the new companion is for Doctor Who.

*SPOILERS BELOW* Unless 당신 wanna find out, I just put that there as a thing, cause I know some people hate spoilers.

They say it is a women named Jenna-Louise Coleman.

I know they are replacing Karen and Arthur. But still, it is gonna be sad.

So what is your opinion on this rumored/maybe new companion?

My answer contains major spoilers!

The BBC has confirmed it, and from what I've read, I think she can pull it off. Her character must be good, she's going to be there for the 50th anniversary! She's going to start in the 크리스마스 special, which will be after the first 6 episodes ("Amy & Rory will leave in a final encounter with the Weeping 천사 in ep 5. Not everyone gets out alive and I mean it this time" according to Steven Moffat on the official Doctor Who Twitter account) then she'll be in the remaining 8 after, and maybe for another season.

Steven Moffat has said this about her:
"We saw a lot of brilliant actresses. But Jenna was the only person going faster than Matt - he had to keep up!"

Jenna herself has said this, through the official Doctor Who Twitter account:
"I want to get started already. I'm a huge 팬 of the show."

And this:
"Matt Smith did my audition with me. It was fun and I felt like we were in it together."

When she was asked about her 가장 좋아하는 companion, Jenna said:
"Between Billie Piper & Karen Gillan."

This series is going to have two parts again, like series 6. Part 1 will be in fall, with six episodes (Amy and Rory will leave in 5, so the Doctor is probably alone in 6, 또는 revisiting someone like Craig), and then there will be the 크리스마스 special in winter where we meet Jenna's character, and then part 2 will be in spring with 8 episodes. With 14 episodes not including the 크리스마스 special, we have an extra episode this year! :D

I'm sure she'll be fine. I've watched most of the episodes from '63 through the new series. Some companions take a while to warm up to, others click right away. It's all in the writing.
