Let me get this straight...

Amy and the Doctor had a child. They named her Melody Pond. Melody was kidnapped 의해 that Lady With-The-Eye-Patch(can't remember her name). The Lady With-The-Eye Patch then renamed her to River Song. She raised River into a villain. River then turned on the Lady With-The-Eye-Patch and River ran away. The Doctor, Amy, and Rory crossed paths with Mel. B(aka Amy's best friend, aka River Song) in 'Let's Kill Hitler'. While in 1960's Germany, Mel. B regenerates into River Song. But way before than, the Doctor had an earlier encounter with River Song. And they fell in love.

My 질문 being...

Is the Doctor in 사랑 with his daughter and vice versa?

After Rory and Amy's wedding, Melody Pond was concieved. She was kidnapped when she was only a baby. She was still called Melody Pond. After that, her past becomes a bit hazy for a while. She did not run away from Madame Kovarian--the eye-patch lady--she was doing her mission, which she had been brainwashed into doing. Mels was part of her mission. She was there in hopes of catching the Doctor so that she could kill him. When he came, Melody regenerated into the body of River Song--but she was still Melody Pond. At the end of that episode she ran away from Madame Kovarian and became River Song. The Doctor and her do have a 사랑 story but she is NOT his daughter. There has never been a romantic relationship with the Doctor and Amy Pond. Out of curiosity, have 당신 watched the sixth season?

Please note, this may not all be in order as her timeline is still murky. Thanks!

no apparently amy and rory had sex on their wedding night in the TARDIS during a time votrex which caused their child (melody/river) to be half-timelord

If I remember the storyline correctly, Rory and Amy left immediately after the wedding in the Tardis with the Doctor. It is assumed that they had sex in the Tardis and Melody Pond was conceived in the Tardis during one of its trips through time. The conception absorbed some of the time energy that was present in the Tardis at that time. So, while the child is Amy and Rory's progeny, part of her makeup was provided 의해 the Tardis itself in the form of Time Vortex Energy.

So, no, Melody/River is NOT the Doctor's daughter, if 당신 want to be very specific, technically she's Amy and Rory's and part of the Tardis/Time Energy itself.

I'm going to have to 구글 one 일 and see if anyone has tried to map out all the intersections of the Doctor and River too date. We know what happened when she was first introduced...(*sniff*). I would like to see her intersections in order of when her timeline overlaps the Doctors.
