Tell me its not true!!!

I heard that an american version of Doctor Who is in the works. Normaly I would 사랑 the idea, but after seeing how much american producers can fuck up a series from the U.K. I realy hope someone can put this rumor to rest. Please?

Sorry to say that I just checked ask.com. It says that an American version of Doctor Who is a possibility. NBC is considering David Tennant for the pilot. Here's hoping they don't mess with a good thing. :(
