kenzieiscool picked Silver Era- Peter Pan:
I still really like Peter Pan! But when I compare it to other Silver Age films, it's just not as great to me. The other films I either dislike or thing are alright.

Pocahontas slams the rest of them. Peter Pan is close though. When do you think the Post-Renaissance ended kenzieiscool?

I haven't seen some of them but from the ones I have seen I prefer Peter Pan, then The Rescuers.

Jayden: I think it ended with Home on the Range. The reason is because after that film, Disney announced that they had plans to do only CGI animation. So because of the change from how they decided to make films ushered in a different era. Kind of like how Xerox was used starting with 101 Dalmations, starting the Transitional Era.

Jayden-G picked Renaissance- Pocahontas:
^ True. I just usually clump the Transitional Era with the Silver Era, since they were still hits for Disney, and combine the Post-Renaissance with the Modern Era just because they did not confirm anything about a Neo-renaissance. But I do think that they are different eras, and the Post-Renaissance ended around Home on the Range - Meet the Robinsons

^Yeah, that's the thing about the eras, everyone has their own way of separating them. (Even amongst film historians).

Some are really easy to categorize. Like the Package films for instance, where in response to historical and financial circumstances films took a noticeable change in story and artwork.

And You're right, technically most people combine the New Renaissance and Renaissance. Which makes sense. But I separated the two bc I think the films before and after Bolt are noticeably different. Especially once Lasseter entered the scene.

As for the transitional (or Dark Ages), I definitively don't see them together with Silver Era. You're right that a lot of them were successful. But the animation is extremely different, bc of the Xerox.
