My second favorite princess, i love her!

I keep having to explain. Most people only give her credit for her flaws, and how she saved china but their is much more than that within her. She is very respectful and obedient. She is careful and lacks balance. I adore her relationship with Shang! that is one of the ways she developed. Mulan started out as awkward around Shang and soon had a lot of confidence in herself so she was a lot more smiley around him and it wasn't really a fake smile. And somehow, she just got closer to him and knew she loved him and all that. Ah! thier is so much to say about this girl I can't even name it. She is much more than just funny, brave, smart and insecure and I can't even name it right now! It's impossible to hate her! The only word I can think of right now for her is AWESOME!

Mulan is incredible. She is layered, flawed, good, and just an all-around great character. She is strong, emotionally as well a physically, but also can just give up at times. She is brave and selfless, but she also really has a hero complex and has a compulsive need to help those she can in any way. She is bitter, vindictive, melancholy, slacks off if she doesn't want it herself, cheats at the beginning, and self-pitying. However, she is also brave, selfless, determined, intelligent, dutiful, humble, obedient, respectful, and finds new solutions and perceives aspects of a situation others overlook. She isn't a girly-girl OR a tomboy, she is just as uncomfortable trying to "out-man" the others as she is tying to impress the matchmaker. That's one thing I truly love about her, she is so completely different. She is genuinely unlike any other person in the village. She would do anything to protect those she cares about and is loyal to her family and her people. Those who say all she is is smart and brave are seriously misjudging her. She is so much more than just smart and brave. I've loved her from the first time I saw her, the awkward girl on the screen was just so completely unique and her own, and I have loved her ever since.

declairmont, even still, Aurora to me is unrealistic, while Mulan is a person I can relate while watching her. And there are more things that I love about Mulan, I can't just love Aurora for being something like obedient and awkward. Mualn's obedience isn't the only thing i like about her, I already named what else I love about her. Aurora to me is too unrelatable and unrealistically respectful. it makes people want to smack her. Every second with her perfection and how everyone adores her and all that. It just annoys me. Besides, the way she was awkward was too wierd and romantic.

She's AWESOME! My next choices would be Merida and Rapunzel.

She's not the protagonist, yet she is a most memorable character in the movie. So charismatic, with a lot of presence!
