I think Ariel, Pocahontas, and Jasmine would have run away from the castle, but maybe Pocahontas would have saved the Beast from the snow after the wolves attacked him. I don't think Snow White or Cinderella or Aurora would have taken their father's place.

Mulan is the only one I can imagine taking her fathers place, then when she runs away from the Beast and gets attacked by the wolves, I know she would help the Beast and bring him back to the castle.

Hmm... I think all of them would be able to, assuming they were in the right situation, but I think Mulan and Pocahontas would be most likely to fall in love with Beast (see princesslullaby's reasons above). I think that probably Ariel and Jasmine would be least likely to, as both are likely to run off and probably wouldn't have a high patience level for the Beast. I think Snow White would be very, very, very scared of the Beast at first , but depending on how frightened she is depends on how likely she is to fall in love. Cinderella and Aurora would probably not have volunteered to have taken their father's places, but I could see them probably being very patient with Beast.

Why does everyone think they only spent a couple days together. I thought it was pretty obvious that the entire story took place from Autumn to Spring. That was the animators'' intention anyway. They even used it as a mood setting for that particular point in the story. It starts with Belle in the village in Autumn and it is winter when she runs away from the Beast's castle. Slowly, as they grow closer it eases into spring. Just because she wears the same dress in two scenes does not mean it is the same day, it means that the animators were running out of time seeing as they only had 2 years to make the whole film. But about the pick, I feel like, while it may have happened with others in the lineup, it may not have happened in time for the last petal.

@hrrypttrfan328- because according to the way the events took place, the clothes she was wearing, and the way actions played out the time clearly took place over 2 days. Unless Maurice took a couple of months to get back to Belle or Le Fou managed to sit in the snow for a couple of months without getting hypothermia.

i think Jasmine, Mulan and Pocahontas could. i'm on the fence about Tiana-PROBABLY not, but she did fall in love with a frog.

Belle ran away from the castle on the very first night--at most a few hours since she first arrived.

So actually, Belle is more similar to the others who would run away right away. The ones who might stay, in contrast, wouldn't have been rescued by Beast from the wolves right away (like Belle).
