	AllMother picked Blue: I think the blue dress looks the most flattering and natural on Aurora. It not only makes her seem more regal, but it also makes her stand out among the other princesses. The pink dress, while beautiful in its own right, does not seem to flatter Aurora as much as the blue dress does. The pink dress has too much oomf and contrasts with not only the overall background designs, but also the color scheme of Philip's outfit. The pink dress makes Aurora stand out a bit too much, whereas the blue dress goes with what the animators have around her. posted over a year ago.

Merryweather was being mischievous. So I think Pink is her color for those reasons and also because in certain frames Cinderella has a very lite baby blue.
